Those faces in the trailer look photorealistic. I can achieve something similar on Cyberpunk if I run it on ultra settings with ray tracing on + mods but it makes my PC sound like a jet engine and so hot to the touch it causes burns.

There is absolutely no way the released product doesn't get severely downgraded, something that looks like this can't run on consoles or the vast majority of PCs.

The closest thing talk radio akin to Chatterbox FM from GTA 3 today would be podcasts. I listen to Lazlow (and radio hosts) talk about ad space for radio airspace. That would definitely fit in with today's monetized world with content creation, MORE SO now than then from experience.

To insult to injury, the traffic is rigged to drive INTO YOU no matter how evasive or defensive you try to drive.
Funny I saw that video last week, I knew something was off when I played this a long time ago. Something to note, in import/export missions this is increased. I think the same person made a video on it and three cars turned sharply to try and crash at him at the same exact time. Three in a row, all right next to each other. Yeah nah, I got into contact with an associate of a friend who makes scripts and shit to just teleport my car (among other things). I wonder if my account is still there, been years.
To me, if you haven't grinded for a prolonged period of time or spent money to get the toys, you're at a complete disadvantage compared to others.
They add all sorts of overpowered bullshit that whales get instantly and completely destroy lobbies with. I've quit a long time ago but I've seen some shit even then, and heard of even crazier shit.

Oh yeah no 100%. From what I saw from the trailers most of it isn't even actual gameplay just cutscenes.

Really hope we get Tim Dillion ranting on the radio in GTA6.

I'll be surprised if GTA 6 would be $70 for the standard edition. If Nintendo is bold enough to charge $80 for THEIR first party exclusives with the Switch 2 out the gate, Take Two is probably relieved that they won't get as much backlash.

Red Dead Redemption II was close from its trailers to the actual game. I'm sure there will be some downgrade, maybe with draw distance, LODs, or even fabric physics, but it'll be close enough.

I really don't get the people, who are disappointed there was no GTAV main story DLC or expansion. What was it they originally planned, something with Trevor as an officer? If you want to see the main characters, some of them actually appear in GTA Online. There is story content with Lamar, Franklin, Trevor, Lester and Ron, on top of tons of new characters introduced with tons of new story content. There is an entire heist with Trevor. That is probably more than you would have ever gotten in any DLC or expansion.

The entirety of the Doomsday Heist together with the ULP follow-up where you go back into Mount Chilliad, and you have to see Avon's cyborgs is some of the funniest and most interesting story and gameplay I've seen in video games in general.

And you all get that for free in GTA Online. For singleplayer DLC or an expansion you probably would have had to pay.

I'm glad they keep adding content to GTA Online, which I can play for free, But somehow they force you to spend your life savings on shark cards, even though they shove money up your ass at every opportunity.
IIRC doomsday heist and some of the casino heist were originally conceived as DLC for the main game along with a planned zombie DLC.

I thought it was just the Tranny club they removed?
nope, every tranny mention was removed.

so GTAV would have it's own undead nightmare? fuck that would be great but shark cards happened and now you have to rely on mods...

Still working through Enhanced Edition. Plays well and no more bugs since the trailer in the river. Lightning looks a little... blue though.

Are there mods to put the Online story content into single player?

Eh, Rockstar's cutscenes are literally never pre-rendered. RDR2, GTA V, Max Payne 3, all cutscenes are rendered in-engine and by the console. genuinely shocked if they do get this to run on PS5.

Sort of. Most are for the legacy edition, and while ScriptHook scripts do work fine as that was updated, any sort of RPF modification is broken as OpenIV hasn't gotten an update for the past few years. So, maybe?

R* insider Tez2 reported that a GTA IV port/remaster is in development and may release later this year.

Someone at R* hinted at the IV port, and by now it should've gone up a year in development. We may end up seeing it drop later this year. And it's one more reason, in addition to existing reasons, the LCPP mod was taken down. If they still follow their plan laid out from the pandemic days, they'll do an MP3 port after IV. So that is an opportunity to do a bundle or a Definitive Edition. Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes, and a Max Payne 3 port.

I know there were reports that the GTA IV remaster was shelved because of the Definitive Edition's response. We did get a RDR1 port for PS4, Switch and finally PC after many years of being exclusive to consoles, so anything is possible. Maybe they're trying to see what Double Eleven is capable of before buying them as an internal studio.

So the biggest hype these two trailers show are the NPCs and Vice City/Florida 2 being truly alive and what looks like a fully-fledged out social media respect/karma mechanic. To what point will this be fun to stand around or mess with random people on the street that escalates to unmarked quests and chaos or will it fall flat or not work at all as NPCs become repetitive and unresponsive. This was something Cyberpunk 77 tried and still failed to do even after more than a decade of development and updates.

I'm speculating that the GTA IV port is only to pad out their GTA+ subscription. It'll probably be $40 with the expansions and no multiplayer like the RDR1 port. You're paying for the privilege to play an updated version of it on current hardware. And what about the original music? It'll probably just feature the re-added songs that R* patched in to remove some songs.

I wonder if they might utilize the work done on the remake to reintroduce Liberty City in the GTA6 version of GTAO?

Then again, I was thinking that RDRO would reintroduce Mexico since it seemed like such a low bar to cross, and that never happened.

I'm gonna go out and say that it may still be worse than the 360/XB1 release. Worst case scenario and one that is likely to happen, they'll port the Complete Edition PC version that well, sucks. It's odd that the best way to play IV vanilla is the 360 release.

Car mechanics will suck, they won't bring back dual wield, all the cities and towns and countries will be severely under utilized besides Ocean Point and the other recognizable spots save for one hillbilly area in the everglades, and the wanted mechanics are going to be more broken than ever.
I'm a Negative Nancy, sure, but I got super excited for V when that turned out to be shit compared to my expectations.
I'd rather be a Debbie Downer and be pleasantly surprised than overhype it and disappoint myself again
But in the weeks leading up to release I'll be a Forget Me Mary and hype it up again.

I just keep my expectations low so that anything feels like a win at this point, expecially for overhyped games like gta6.
