It's an acoustic guitar rendition of a cantonese song about a gambler at the end of his rope, which would be appropriate for any BMJ or gamba heavy streams.
Americans have Johnny Cash, chinks get Johnny Yuan

He has the instrumental talent, someone needs to write him nonsense lyrics and he can sing the broken English that matches the tonal trip from American country chords to the Chinese ones:

Gam-ball-ling looooss,
Not so good
Pai-Gow hands,
totally stacked
American debt,
cannot escape

It's gonna be O-kaaaaaay-
American Cheeseburger
It's gonna be alriiiiiight-

Watching the Shmorky vid and getting all sorts of sad.

You zoomers and later-millenials really don't know what you missed out on. How awesome the internet was in the late 90s and early to mid 2000s. We've lost so much.

I was going though my old stash of hard drives from the last 25 years and pulling stuff off onto a new SSD I bought and I found my bookmarks from 2003. So many sites and forums I used to visit daily that are now just gone because everyone only uses Facebook and Twitter and YouTube.

You never really know the good times until theyre gone. If heaven is real, I'd love to just live in free play between post-WWII and 2016 because I truly believe those years were a blessed aberration in human history and everything is going to be downhill from here. I've had discussions with multiple generations of my family when we get together and everyone is of that opinion. Greatest gen, boomers, Gen X, and Millenial members all agreed.

Its a compound of wash and cafeteria, not a Spanish verb ending.
I was always under the understanding that it was a portmanteu of wash and lavanderia. I've never seen them outside of Texas, Arkansa, and Louisiana. And atleast the ones I've been too have always been owned by Hispanics. I've been fooled.

“When you create an account on a developer’s external website, you may have to provide personal information, including payment information, directly to the developer or third-party partners,” Apple says in a support page linked from its warning message. “You will be trusting the developer, as well as any partners and payment providers they work with, to handle your information based on their privacy and security controls.”

Apple is already facing heat in the EU for its practices around scare tactics. In April, the European Commission issued preliminary findings that Apple “makes it overly burdensome and confusing” for users to install alternative app marketplaces, a process that involves clicking through several scare sheets that ask users to confirm if they want to proceed.

This App Store warning message has also appeared in the wake of the recent Epic vs Apple ruling that bans Apple from restricting how developers can link to alternative purchase systems. A notable requirement implemented to address Apple’s scare tactics was that the company cannot interfere with consumers choosing to leave an app with anything beyond “a neutral message” about being directed to a third-party site, though that injunction doesn’t apply outside of the US.

Does anyone still have the clip of Null reading the "get it twisted" copy pasta? I'm surprised I couldn't find it with a search...

ETA: Same for the "do it for her" edit that says "do it for sixty-two slices of American cheese"

Japan, at least when I was there, is the exact opposite. Dropping a 10,000Yen(about $100US at the time) note for a candy bar at 7-11 was totally normal. Of course usually you just got your Yen at the ATM in the same 7-11 since it was one of the few places that worked fairly consistently with US cards. Only larger places took credit cards and only the largest took American Express.
This was true in Japan a while ago but it's changed a lot. Credit cards, IC transit card payments, and especially the phone app payments (PayPay is the big Japan-local one, works basically the same as WeChat Pay) have crowded out cash in a big way over the last 5-10 years. Even small-time mom and pop stores take plastic now, especially in a tourist-heavy area. I think Rakuten was kind of their local equivalent of Square when it came to aggressively selling credit card point of sale systems to small retailers. Big retailers and convenience stores will take every payment method under the sun (and a lot of them have self checkout.) If you go to a big arena-type concert or sporting event chances are the concessions will be no cash and no credit cards, it's your phone or nothing.

Pretty much the only cash-only situations you'll hit as a tourist in urban Japan nowadays are smaller bars and non-chain restaurants.

I don't care what people say as long as they don't use "laundry mat" [shudders, not a thing] in lieu of "laundromat," which is a portmanteau of laundry and automat.

for the people that know who Luke Smith is. That somehow haven't heard he is posting videos again.

edit : thanks for posting the Ralph thing @I'm a Silly god, it's so frustrating. Ralph, could have taken it in any direction. And he decided to just so the same bullshit he has said the last however many years now. Too bad he can't stop being a retarded rage pig, and get sober.

If this gets on his podcast, I am holding you responsible

@Null you are now aware that looksfaggg Clav's DUI video from last year has been found and he's just as pantsshittingly doped up and retarded as we all expected him to be in it, and also that I will be very disappoint if we don't get a side-by-side with the DIY buccal fat removal at some point, major loltent here.
He is currently on a YT pooosting spree, I think the fake tan review (because the sun is gay) vid is the funniest but they're all pure random.txt (NORTH SENTINEL ISLAND DROPS BRO):
