In some ways a federal debt is the same thing. People often associate it with a nation is living beyond its means when that really isn't the case because again, if taking a loan from your citizens for the purpose of paying your citizens is living beyond your means then who is funding this unsustainable lifestyle? You are with your own money. In reality running a national debt just means a different method is being used to "pull" productivity in a certain direction. That can cause problems in and of itself, but it's not the same as being "in the hole" like it is with personal finances.
The problem becomes when there's international trading of these sovereign debts and you're not the biggest dick on the planet.

Because then people can panic and hyperinflate the currency.

I don't really see the point of still making sesame Street. It's not like they are going to discover any new letters.

And least Bluey is entertaining and not a show that makes adults want to blow their brains out like Paw Patrol
We could shut down PBS say "mission accomplished, we taught kids what colors are" and then rerun episodes of Sesame Street, Wordgirl, etc. for the next 100 years.
A newborn doesn't really care if that episode is new or old, and by the time they do, they'll have outgrown the educational purpose of the show.

We could shut down PBS say "mission accomplished, we taught kids what colors are" and then rerun episodes of Sesame Street, Wordgirl, etc. for the next 100 years.

The future of the show is to be delivered in the form of 30 second reels in an undifferentiated mass anyway.

If that was done, who would teach the children their morals and how to see the world?

3 hour interview with Tom Homan on the Shawn Ryan Show:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk5lU1hHHcA (archive.ph)
Tom Homan is the U.S. Border Czar under President Donald Trump’s second administration, appointed in November 2024 to oversee border security and interior enforcement operations. A career law enforcement officer, Homan served as Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from 2017 to 2018, where he implemented stringent immigration policies. With over 4 decades of experience, including roles as a police officer and Border Patrol agent, Homan is a leading advocate for enforcing immigration laws, focusing on deporting individuals deemed public safety or national security threats. Homan’s initiatives include increasing ICE detentions and prosecuting those who impede federal immigration enforcement.

Isn't this already the case with Constitutional questions on other matters, like say 2nd Amendment issues?

Let's say Nashville passes a law restricting the magazine capacity of handguns. The Second Amendment Foundation sues, the case goes back and forth through the courts until the Appeals court for the 6th Circuit eventually says, "Cut out that unconstitutional bullshit." Nashville appeals to the Supreme Court, but the SC doesn't grant certiorari and so in the 6th Circuit at least, that law is struck down. Magazine capacity laws are dead-on-arrival in the states of Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Tenessee and unenforceable.

Meanwhile, California passes a similar magazine capacity law. The law is similarly challenged, but the 9th Circuit says the 2nd Amendment does not bar California from taking necessary steps to restrict gun capacity, because doing so furthers the state's legitimate interest in reducing crime.

Until the Supreme Court grants certiorari to the 9th Circuit case, or another case to address the circuit split, we have in effect, different application of federal law in different portions of the country.

The Supreme Court should consider carefully the consequences of how they rule on this.
I wish Trump would judge-shop to get some obscure right-wing judge to grant him nationwide injuctions compelling the government to do all the shit he wants to do.

I've been thinking about the America, Middle East Alliance that seems to be swiftly solidifying. Specifically, all those Architecture YouTube channels that expose all the indian slave workers, terrible infrastructure, etc. As much as I hate it, I think it makes a lot of sense. America is a resource heavy land by scale alone and can potentially provide cheaper materials to assist in the bolstering and solidifying the middle east into a first world country. Not to mention, we have an over saturation of Engineers in some aspects or at least create a more quantitative amount of great engineers to matter. The crossover happened in Sports as Saudi Arabia has purchased a good majority of sports media. Saudi Arabia is also investing into Mega entertainment center specifically for foreigner, but there is no one going to them they just don't have the consumers for it. Who does? America. Let's talk about travel, Quatar's gift is putting pressure on Boeing to improve. Airlines are able to purchase new planes at a federally discounted price to replace the old, costly, planes with new ones. Maybe the airlines won't mind lowering their prices...that's a pretty big maybe, or in the least, being able to afford larger capacity airplanes offsets the margin enough to warrant a comfortable drop in ticket price. THEN, we get the Disney treatment from the UAE, Cheap as fuck international travel packages for American tourist. Though the entry price is low, they screw ya with the food prices; you know, the American way and viola practically no cost. All the while the USD starts to improve and look better, because of course we're part of all of these deals in some way. That is where the engineers come back in and other low level jobs, we start exporting useful people to work on more fulfilling projects--#RamblingsofaMadMan

that punched me right in the gut.

I know a guy that swears up and down he saw a night and day change in his kid after his first round of vaccinations.

Its not something I like to think about or just find a way to convince myself he must have misunderstood or even is making it up. I really REALLY hope its environmental. The alternative is dark.

As a mother of two young children I did my due diligence to actually research the vaccines that are listed on the CDC schedule. It didn’t sit right with me that I was inspected to hand my baby over on the day of birth to receive a Hep B vaccine and then again at only 8 weeks old to receive six vaccines and on and on nearly every other month until 2.5. How pushy our first pediatrician was really gave me pause as well. He tried to make me feel like an idiot for even questioning, sent me home with some cdc pamphlets, said “you need to trust me or find a new practice.”

The number of stories and testimonials I read of people’s kids losing the light in their eyes and regressing (losing speech, walking etc) after a round of vaccines shook me.

If you read the package inserts for any of the current vaccines one of the main side effects is encephalitis (brain swelling) which leads to piercing screaming cries. The doctor will tell you this is all normal so long as the child gets over it, and if the child doesn’t they’ll gaslight the shit out of you that it’s anything but the vaccines. You’re gonna tell me that prolonged brain swelling doesn’t lead to any neurological disorder down the line?

Now as I raise my children around other’s kids who are on the vaccine schedule to the T I can see the difference. At 2 years old most their kids aren’t talking, at least not in a way that’s comprehensive. They’re not as interactive. They walk strangely. They’re sick constantly. Ear infections, allergies etc. Getting put on rounds of antibiotics over and over.

Perhaps I’m biased. Perhaps it’s all a coincidence and anecdotal. I also only allow my children very limited screen time (TV no phones/ipads) and feed them organic Whole Foods and am fortunate enough to be home all day instead of sticking them in day care. So my kids have an advantage for sure, but to me it’s pretty obvious.

Call me a dirty antivaxxer, but if you think the Covid shots were the first bad ones, you need to re evaluate.

This faggot is trying to get in on the attention, but I hope the Secret Service uses it as a pretext to just raid his computer or find all the child sex slaves in his home:

KWF007.webp

This is where Elon needs to learn some mafia style systems where he has people he pays decently for some no-show job but who actually just travel when necessary to beat the shit out of faggots. Boeing seems to have people on hand for this all the time, come on Tesla.

Listen, Comey is a faggot. But the fucking histrionics in this thread over 86 is equally retarded and belongs on Bluesky. If someone is 86'ed from a bar, it doesn't mean they're taken out back and shot in the head. Jesus christ. Faggots act like they've never heard this term used to kick someone out of an establishment in their entire lives suddenly.
I agree with the spirit of what you're saying but these people would never extend the same benefit of the doubt to you for making a similar joke about an anti-Trump politician.

As dogshit as the current vaccine protocols are there's a reason why ye olde diseases like measles, whooping cough (pertussis) and the like were feared. Pertussis fucking sucked, a great uncle nearly died of it before mass vaccination.

Do what you want to do but it's within living memory what the effects of not having the truly serious diseases vaccinated are.

Which is why the clear push to get money by adding junkie mother diseases like HepB, and completely useless vaccines like Flu and COVID are so egregious.

I was inspected to hand my baby over on the day of birth to receive a Hep B vaccine
My favorite response to this is "Why does a newborn need a vaccine against a disease that only impacts heroin users and faggots?"

How pushy our first pediatrician was really gave me pause as well.
It's similar to the manipulation tactic used by Covidians during the Holocough. "Nobody is making you take it!"

they have a larger economy than their former colonial overlord, you can say watever you want, thats damn impressive and worth being proud of your nation, also check out that year over year GDP growth, knocking on the door of double digits.

There are lots of legitimate reasons to criticize India but they are not without merit
You've struck a nerve and I'm compelled to bring up two things:

1.) Their former overlord lost their entire empire within the span of a decade in exchange for winning WWII. Sure the Allies were ultimately victorious, but it cost everyone besides the US dearly - both in blood and resources. England in particular suffered horrendous casualties and was an active participant in the war pretty much since it kicked off, not to mention they had barely recovered from WWI. England was forced to abandon basically all overseas colonies because they were in such a ragged state coming out of it that they could not afford to support them any longer. For the preeminent example of a nation that made its fortune on trade and colonial expansion it's no wonder they've been on a steady decline ever since. This is coming from someone whose disdain of the eternal Anglo rivals that of Jersh, but you underestimate how much of a spiral the UK went into after the second world war. Although there's still the topic of WWII as a whole and Churchill's role in letting it happen in the first place (since we're talking about Pat Buchanan I'd highly recommend The Unnecessary War), but I digress...

2.) without PLing too much, I have to work with a lot of Indians. I haven't personally been to India and pray I never will, but I've heard stories from one of my managers about visiting there. Let me tell you this - Indians do not think or function in the same way as Westerners or any civilized nation. For example: most Indians who aren't in the bottom caste don't have washing machines, dish washers, vacuums, or cook their own food. Why? Because in their curry-riddled brains it's easier to simply pay someone else to do it instead of buying or doing it yourself. One guy my boss talked to had ONE person for each of these jobs:
• Cook food
• Do laundry
• Clean the house
• Wash dishes
And probably other, basic chores that your average European has learned to do since they were a kid. Do you know how much all that costs in USD?
$150. Per month.
To pay at least four separate people to do menial chores that can either be done easily by a machine or yourself, it'll cost you $150 per month in India. That's less than rent for an apartment pretty much anywhere in the US.

Another thing that struck him was when he was at the airport. Instead of using a forklift or some vehicle to move luggage, they just throw all of it on a giant cart and have like 10 guys push it AND a ramp to load the plane, since they don't have a lift to reach it normally. Not only that, but there's tents alongside the runway every 50 metres or so with one guy in each one, just watching the runway. Why? Fuck if I know, maybe they don't have an air traffic control tower. I'm pretty sure they just create new jobs because they have so many fucking people.

Normally I'd take this kind of story with a grain of salt, but this guy is basically a proto-Redditor with BLM stickers plastered on the back of his pickup and a "I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE" mentality. Basically my point is he's solidly left-leaning and even he was barely able to hide his disgust.

The Indian solution to problems is not to solve them through innovation. It's to throw as many bodies at the problem as possible until it is solved. They have so many people in their country that they don't believe it's worth their time to automate tasks. And why would you? You have, what, nearly 20% of the world's population in your country and they need to work, might as well pay them pennies to do shit that could easily be accomplished by technology that's been around for decades. People like to joke that blacks and Mexicans in the US are lazy, but I don't think most people understand just how ingrained laziness and middle-management is ingrained in Indian culture. And yes, I'll admit it - I have a bone to pick with Indians. You can bring up the different castes and cultures on the subcontinent ("b-but my heckin' based Brahmins"); and sure, not all of them are lazy, unoriginal assholes. But to think that there isn't something off on a fundamental level that's completely at odds with modern Western civilization is delusional. That's not to say their country doesn't have untapped potential especially with a population of that size, but you need to immediately dispel any notion that they can peacefully integrate and not bring a massive trash heap of steaming shit with them - both metaphorically and literally. When you think about it this way, it all makes sense why "Indian" is synonymous with "scam call centers and shitty customer support".

To tie it full circle, let's ask old Winston himself what he thought of them:

1747356297987.webp
1747356341966.webp
And lastly, from The Unnecessary War:
"Hindus [were] a foul race protected by their pollution from the doom that is their due."

But the fucking histrionics in this thread over 86 is equally retarded
No no no.

See, the problem is that this whole thing has happened already. And the response was all over the media about what 86 means and the context. Comey is a politician and he knows these things because that is his job.

He didn't make a mistake. He knew what he was doing. Because he is a spy, his denial is also probably orchestrated as well to stir up even more people so the media can point, laugh and distract. But he knows what he said and there is no ambiguity because we have already done this whole song and dance before.

We are back at pre-assassination attempt levels of "kill Trump" from public figures. Throw the book at him.
