Like, one of my favorite streams was him trying to get Marty's IP, and while that was facilitated by Michael Hacking... He just never tries anything like that anymore. I don't think that's a result of brain damage, I think it's just a result of him becoming more and more secluded over the years. He's getting duller because his life is getting duller.

I don't deny that the beating is a possible explanation, but the fact that he sits in his room all day by himself could be enough on its own to explain his stereotyped behaviors and lack of creativity.
