Most autistic thing you've purchased lately - c'mon feel the cringe

Watch out with Kailh Box anything. I don’t know about the Box 2s but the first-gen Box White and Navy clicky switches I’ve used had issues with unexpected activation before the click, premature switch failure, and cracking of keycap stems because of how tight of a fit they were. Only use cheap cap sets on them that you don’t mind getting damaged.
Those issues were only with early batches of the very first wave of the Box series from like 8 years ago and were quickly fixed.

How far away from the target can you operate it and still be accurate? I used one in the early 2000s and it was absolutely hopeless any further than a couple of feet.
Pretty much that. Considering it's for kitchen use I don't mind. I want to deep fry in beef tallow in a Dutch oven on the stovetop instead of the Fry Daddy.

Some little Magpul cable management clips that slot into M-Lok slots to secure and tidy up the cables connecting the tapeswitches to the lights on my ARs. Sure, zipties do the job just fine, but this is the autistic purchases thread:

I picked up a really badass Powell-Peralta deck and some trucks and wheels for it and started skateboarding for the first time ever. Took me like an hour before I could get the hang of coasting without feeling like I was going to fall off. I need lots of practice.

I got a balance board recently. Might be worth a look if you want to improve your balance in the comfort of your home.

Thread tax: Something like this.

What are some of the upgraded features from FS24?
Ah, the last title in the series was FS22. It's released on an irregular schedule, usually once every 3 years. Main new features are disasters (like tornadoes), better visuals, more equipment, and AI driving assistance (basically a semi-autopilot, makes it easier to drive in a perfectly straight line)
Is there a financial management aspect to the game?
Sorta. You can make so that the game starts off with you having to pay back a loan, and you can borrow money from the bank as needed. There's also a government subsidy mod.
Are there limits on the number of hoes you can own?
Everything's done with tractor tools, the only hand tools available are chainsaws and a flashlight.

physical copies of touhou 7, 10, and 11.

they are my favorites :(

one time I bought that 3d fighter that you do combos and then MASSIVE DAMAGE by taking a pic up the skirt of your opponent, pretty sure it predated Dead Rising by a hot minute
I don't even like 3d fighters and suck at combos, but it was more the principle of I could (for twenty bucks) actually buy a real copy of a weird doujin perv game that I'd heard about online

the problem was that the 3 games' physical copies were around 70 bucks.

This is the most autistic phone. The Unihertz Tank 3 Pro. The moment I saw the teardown, I knew I had to have it.
That's so awesome. Can't find any custom ROMs for it at a glance, but I suppose you can always root > degoogle by hand. Might have to hold off on getting a PinePhone now thanks to you.

At Grocery Outlet they had sugar-free canned baked beans and I got my hopes up (again).

They fixed the carb problem all right, but they went absolutely wild with the Splenda and the beans were even sweeter than normal baked beans, like they were floating in fake-Karo Syrup cloying bean liquid.

I put them outside and something ate them. (The beans didn't have xylitol.)

Not a teeaboo or anything but England has the right idea about baked beans not being a dessert item.
