Very few if any boomer estates will be inherited or actually hit the open market. Most will be sold to banks and multinational holding companies to cover a decade of biomechanical horror as the boomers desperately cling to life in fetid nursing homes.
I'm doubtful. Banks and Corps are just gonna hold on to homes sold to them by boomers, forever? You know there's taxes and other shit that has to be paid for them. Banks and Companies don't have endless money. It seems like it, but there is a bottom to it.

Banks and corps are in it to make money. It would make more sense to put homes on the market to sell to folks and then have them sign the mortgage with the same bank. Banks make more money off of a loan than having to pay taxes and shit for the land and home, et. al.

What do you guys think about the South African clique of the Paypal mafia? Just for clarity, Thiel basically spent his whole childhood in the State of South Africa (which controlled Namibia at this time). I have university exams very soon but when thats done I may do a small research write up on these guys in the conspiracy theory thread if I discover anything worth mentioning.
I was just wondering what you think of them, given their influence. Given the relevance of Musk and Thiel I don't think this thread needs any justification in terms of relevance to current events

South Africa used to be a real country, and now look at it.

Are people upset that a Supreme Court judge has overturned Trump's decision? Weren't those same people fine with it when it happened under Biden or abortion?
This is bait, right? Did you forget about the bajillion times Biden did whatever the hell he wanted to even after the judges told him "no"?

My concern is that with all this stuff, Trump's plan may backfire spectacularly.

He could have enforced existing laws and influenced Congress, which his party controls, to pass more stringent laws and immigration reform.
I disagree with the rest of your post but I'll just address this--Congress has refused to do its job for years. Possibly two decades if not more. Trump has zero influence with them because they're not interested in passing laws, just grifting constituents. Both parties are doing this. It's the one thing they're united on--doing absolutely nothing helpful or of consequence for the American people.

Just a reminder now that the Hur interview has dropped: Media knew. Congress knew. Our military knew. The Supreme Court knew. FBI/CIA/DOJ knew. All of DC knew. And not in a "I suspect he's got dementia" but full out knew. The Republicans knew, znd all they did was laugh at MTG when she wanted to impeach him. Not an MTG fan but so very, very few in our government were willing to do the right thing and impeach/25th him, because they were just fine with status quo and getting their bag while America swirled the toilet. Exactly how is Trump supposed to influence and work with these people?

Comparing roe v. Wade to this decision is a false equivalency that makes me think your baiting.
The reason this decision might upset people is because it's very clearly the USSC trying to defer their responsibility and they basically provided a non answer.

All they said was that the deportees weren't 'givin 'due process' but what does 'due process' look like for someone who is in the country illegally? Because unlike how it sounds 'due process' is an umbrella term for a range of different circumstances. These people were getting theirs in the form of a background check at a detention site, that thanks to technology takes literally minutes to do. If that background check comes back and you're found to not have legal resident status, have committed crimes that invalidate your visa, are a known criminal, or that you already have a order for removal then they have every right to deport you. In fact without the USSC explicitly laying out what the definition of 'due process' is for an illegal immigrant the DHS and ICE can just shrug and continue doing what they are doing. All this did was muddy the waters of the definition of 'due Process' in this circumstance setting up more bullshit at the lower courts. This decision makes the USSC look like pussies and it's going to inevitably come back up to them.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I hope that helps you understand why people are frustrated. Or just call me a retard and give me hats.

Wait for what?
notice of deportation, presumably. another failing of the roberts court is every time they do this, they don't make ANY new ruling, and instead just ask the previous circuit to rerule, and it leads to things like what @X Prime said above, you add one minute to the timer for how long they must wait, because the SCOTUS did not say how long any of this should be, they just said they haven't been 'given due process'.

which they absolutely have, because the due process is finding out if they're legally in the country, or if they have any reason to be deported. as was said earlier, this can be done in MINUTES with a DHS computer. you are also required by law to keep your immigration documents on you at all times.

They'll just rent them out like any other residency. The property taxes and maintenance will be baked into your monthly rent if you are lucky.

HOA's are the libertarians' most acceptable alternative to government because it is private, and voluntary. So you'll often find a libertarian crowd supporting HOAs as well because they don't consider it government because private entity=good.
I've always thought that a lolbert/anarcho-commie 'government' would just end up looking like an HOA with guns anyway.

A lolbert government and an anarchist government are identical. None of them want any government really they just run away or stick their heads in the sand while the rest of the world falls apart. Wouldn't be annoyed if they didn't actively help the world falling apart by then screaming about civil liberties and such but only when enforced to actually help keep the area nice, because usually the freedoms the lolberts want are directly the ones that need the most governance, like immigration.

Matt Christiansen's video about the true argument, injunctions stopping everything anywhere, is very good and succinct. He points out how Sotamayor is an idiot thinking it's about the 14th amendment, Kagan's hypocrisy and basically saying worry about your guns in the future, and Barret acting like a white woman.

BUT, he says from the tea leaves it seems to be 5-4 in favor of limiting injunction power to just the people responding or a class action case, not a blanket for everyone done from the hip of a district court. Even Roberts mentions if something needs to be reviewed as SCOTUS is the only court in the constitution, they can move a bit quicker. Ironic coming from the guy who keeps punting every opportunity he can.

And for Saturday sillies, the baby meme is the current 24 hour thing, and someone made a good one of Trump and Musk.

This explains why they have a reputation for petty, power-tripping, and nonsensical leadership.

they have that reputation because "crazy bitch powermad HOA president fucked up my ability to have chickens" is a good story and everyone enjoys it and passes it around. "I wanted chickens so I became president of the HOA" is not as fun a story.

I don't think the ruling is that bad, for Trump I mean

yah the 7 Libs over looked a tonne of bad shit to get the end they wanted. Only Alito and Thomas pointed out how fucked it was that this issue ended up before the SCOTUS and the way it did but if you read the actually ruling the SCOTUS really didn't say or do anything besides put a temp stay on the issue and kick it back down to the 5th for another go.

I know Roberts will do just about anything to avoid making a decision that will pit the SCOTUS vs Trump as he knows he will probably lose but these continual do nothing rulings is only making things worse.

I don't think I've ever seen someone gets so much dick-sucking by mainstream media. Hasan really is a fucking plant

Yeah the guy who got assblasted by a man who does not know how to shower is a sure sign that he is going to be successful.

I cannot wait for the Hasan homeless untouchable arc.

I changed homeless because I do not mean actually homeless I just mean he has no place anywhere and just kind of hangs around like a ghost trying to touch people but he has no real weight.

The important thing is the lie that it was all one big happy family is done for and they're going to be cutting the fat. And more importantly, the people with actual power have realized such.
This falls apart the moment one realizes culture has been shaped by the people who own D.C.

Nice bedtime story though.

This is one of the most absurd things I've ever read. Are you really going to tell me that culture was controlled by the right in trump's first term? Or Bush's second term? Or controlled by the left in 2023? Was Nixon the one pushing hippie culture through unseeable government magic?

Or are you talking about the nose people? Illuminati? Majestic 12 maybe? Rockefeller's brain being kept alive in a jar? Who's the evil all present force that causes every single thing to happen everywhere that answer to nobody.
Nice bedtime story though.
Remain cucked.

Like think about this for a minute, how many news organizations have gassed this guy up, nearly every major news organization has written a puff piece about this man. Hasan piker and his ilk claim to be rebels and yet they never be banned from twitch and they are constantly dick sucked by every news organization. Hasan piker is the textbook detention of a plant.
