Gawker Media - Feat. Kotaku, Jezebel, and Friends

Way back in one of his early specials, Dave even made some jokes about the proto-oppression olympics of the time.

He concluded that in the USA at least, even niggas gotta shut the fuck up when a Native American comes around.

He's like a prophet, except the only thing he saw coming was the autism of identity politics.

Chris Rock did that joke even earlier. He said that latinos were starting to push blacks out of the majority in boxing, so it was clear that the more you're currently oppressed, the harder you hit in the ring, and the latinos better watch out because there was some big Native American motherfucker out there waiting in the wings to beat all their asses.

But Chappelle’s Show had its iconic three-year run on Comedy Central over a decade ago. Whether or not Chappelle will pay the cost for speaking so freely in a time that is at least more outwardly sensitive and engaged with the spectrum of identities than it was back then remains to be seen.

Is that a fuckin' threat?

Chappelle canceled his show, turning down *$50 fucking million* because he didn't like the environment he was in.

I seriously doubt he gives one single fuck about a bunch of pearl-clutching white trannies or their "threats."

They're talking like they can threaten him, though. "Paying the cost" and whatnot.

This "threat" was written by Rich Juzwiak, who went to New York University for a degree in Journalism in 2001. Full-time tuition for one semester currently runs $24,531.00. There's a small 5-10 year gap after graduation on his resume, depending on whether you count the 5-year stint as "Blogger" for VH1 in the Greater New York City Area as a career.
So during the entire run of Chappelle's Show Rich Juzwiak appears to have been a private college graduate living off his parents, in New York City no less.
Today, he's lecturing Chappelle on privilege.

Rich white guy lecturing black comedian on how he needs to "pay a price" for how jokes he told last decade are hurting everyone's feelings.......

It's ridiculous that these people analyze and break down comedy to the point where it becomes tiresome. Chappelle isn't my favorite comedian, but he's pretty damn good. He has a way of being topical, authentic, and raw with his humor and somehow he makes it work. Most of his stand up specials are hilarious!!

This part says a lot about these people's mindset:

Chapelle said: I was like how the fuck are transgender people beating black people in the discrimination Olympics? If the police shot half as many transgenders as they did niggas last year, it’d be a fucking war in L.A. I know black dudes in Brooklyn—hard street motherfuckers—that wear high heels just to feel safe.

Rich Juzwiak (who wrote the stupid article) said: The fact of the matter is that 2016 was the deadliest year on record for trans people (with 25-27 killed, depending on the sources), and 2015 held the previous record.

Chapelle is making a joke and throwing in a little relevance at the time and this awful blogger chastises him by mentioning this "awful, deadly year" of 2016 where 25-27 "trans" people were killed. There's no explanation or anything specifying that these trans people were murdered in hate crimes by cruel individuals who believe they shouldn't exist, no, he just mentions that a group of them died. And there's the fact that the only identifier the blogger gives these people is that they're "trans". They could be black, Jewish, Latino, whatever, but apparently all that matters is trans.

I think these types of people, the ones like this blogger who have a narrow, linear agenda should do their readers a favor and not "review" comics. It's embarrassing. I mean, they aren't furthering anything along or informing anyone. I think the people that go see these comics have the intelligence to understand funny anecdotes, silly impressions, and off-color jokes.

There's something very cringy about watching an uptight, rich, white blogger with a stick up his ass lecturing a very successful black comic like Chappelle.

I just listened to both specials, and they're awesome. Even if the one in Texas recycles some material I remember Dave using in 2004.

White SJWs should probably step a bit lightly around Chappelle. Among people in the black community who aren't #woketwitter #einsteinwasblack type retards, he's still pretty much a god, even after his long layoff.

There's also the community of people who enjoy comedy where you might actually enjoy it or even laugh.

Laughter is the enemy of the SJW.

I watched both specials yesterday, and I thought what Dave said about LGBT people was not just funny but fair. He has always struck me as a pretty open-minded dude. People who have never struck me as open-minded? Gawker writers. They're pretty much all given to hysterics and are constantly hypocritically moving the goal posts about what is or isn't acceptable. The only people worse than the writers are the commentators. Jezebel is still in my news reader, but I rarely read a full article, usually just roll my eyes at the headlines.
