Explosion at fertility clinic in Palm Springs, at least one dead

Emergency personnel are responding to an explosion near the American Reproductive Centers building in Palm Springs, California.
The incident has rattled homes and startled residents, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported. Some residents are reporting smoke and an odor, according to the outlet.
Palm Springs Police Department told the Desert Sun said the explosion at about 11 a.m. local time in downtown Palm Springs, which was felt as far as 2 miles away, appears to be a car explosion by the American Reproductive Centers clinic. Lt. William Hutchinson said that there appears to be at least one fatality.
"Everything is in question, whether this is an act of terrorism," he said on the scene.
Palm Springs Police and Fire crews are currently on the scene. The city of Palm Springs advised residents to stay away from the area so that emergency crews can work the incident.
According to it's website, American Reproductive Centers started in 2006 and is "Coachella Valley’s first and only full-service fertility center & IVF lab."

This guy could well be a case of a volcel incel. He willingly abstained himself from sex due to his principles, but I doubt there were many women lined up to sleep with him either. There is no way some of his beliefs didn't come from the realisation that he's never going to be able to find someone to procreate.

Which is a huge problem. Men need children in their lives in order to get that psychological "contract with the future". Without that there is no incentive to do things like build wealth, society, civilization and so on because everything you do will just be done for immediate pleasure and gratification. Unless you are a turbo autist who can only take pleasure from accumulation be it money, cars, land or funko pops. Most people aren't that though.

In more civilized times we had three solutions for preventing this. Solution 1 was teaching a proper moral foundation and grounding the young man in a rules based hierarchy where he assumed obligations and responsibilities depending on where he was on the ladder. Solution 2 was turning him into a slave, serf, soldier or some combination of the three and working him to death. Or use as Cannon fodder. Essentially the same thing.

As for the third option, well, if you can't become a moral and productive member of society, and you refuse to be beaten into something useful we just hung you instead. It sounds harsh in our soft modern world, but life is harsh, and men exist to fight with nature. If that impulse is not directed and simply left to fester, it can lead to dark places. Militant nihilism being one of them.

My local PBS station aired a program, which was made about 10 years ago, featuring elderly men who were HIV positive, and had formed their own little community in the Palm Springs area. Maybe it was edited appropriately, but most of them were quite pathetic, and not people I would want to personally know.

ETA: It was called "Desert Migration."

Beyond this I cannot find any social media for him or his sister, and his parents' Facebook accounts don't give much to work with. This information was found from looking into graduating classes in the general area of Twentynine Palms. I'm not going into his retarded beliefs because other people already have. I'm confident something could be found through other avenues, but I'm not sure I care enough to look.

Interesting. Zinc and iron and b vitamins are common deficiencies in the Middle East. I hadn’t thought about unleavened bread but yeah that wouldn’t help.
Vegan diets are deficient in Creatine, carnosine, taurine, choline, b12, b6, iron, selenium, vitamin d, vitamin A, some omega 3 fatty acids zinc and iodine. The usual rebuttal is that various plants have these in and some do, BUT
1. the plant form is almost never as bioavailable as the animal
2. Everyone’s diet is shit these days
3. Plants have lowered micronutrient content due to depleted soils.
4. You need to eat pounds of veg to get the same amount as a bit of meat for most of these nutrients.
So you switch to a vegan diet and probably feel great for a few months becasue you’re eating more veg, and then your stores of various nutrients runs out and you go nuts and your hair falls out. Choline and creatine and taurine and b12 and iron etc are VITAL from brains to work.

He was a follower. He could be converted to PURE EFIL by Reddit and build a bomb, but he respected traffic laws every step of the way and didn't think to park inside the building instead of the parking lot, dumping the majority of the blast energy into the atmosphere.
