The whole “why do you care” cope is peak lolbertarian. We live in a society. Basic human empathy aside, people care because drug addicts are a drain on society and microdosing children with hard drugs is a net negative in society, which affects everyone. “But why do you NEED me to not deflect?” Because taking ownership and repenting is an indicator that it won’t happen again.

If Nick left the internet, stopped trying to pretend to be a good man on the internet, divorced his wife and got away from his children, people wouldn't care anymore. He would just be another gay trust fund baby junkie at that point.

The thing about Nick though is that never enough just to be a degenerate. He needs to be degenerate in a parasocial relationship with his audience.

Its not that Nick wants us not to care. What Nick wants is to be loved, enabled, seen as a "cool guy" and for people to look up to him as a "good" man. He very much wants us to care. But care only his terms.

In his comments Nick makes a big deal about Aaron making April pick up his kids for the visitation. April was doing it because Aaron needed to start his morning show on time. Nick tries to use this in an unconvincing way to show that Aaron is bad dad.
Why how very manly of Nick to sit with two women and relitigate his relationship in excessive detail.

Exactly what manly men are known to do. Sit and discuss things like child rearing and all sorts of imagined slights from a year ago, over a bottle of wine.

“He ain’t shit Nick! You deserve better!”

Hell hath no fury like a faggot scorned.

Last break was pretty good. Someone brings up that Kurt has been doing well lately. Nick rants about how he doesn't care about views, and anyway, he's been away for a year. Kurt is a pile of garbage that he wouldn't want to associate with, but he "doesn't want him to die or anything". Then it just goes on and on: pizza casseroles, micropenis, women being "very umcomfortable", etc. He'll watch the pizza casserole video at lunch.

He'll also interview a lawyer named John Matteus who wrote an amicus brief regarding the same issue Randazza was talking about.

"I'm finding things right now are going rather well!" Nick insists to himself, as he loses over 10% of his liveviewer base each week.

He's back to the part of the cycle where he stays up till 3AM and replies to one-follower accounts with the most basic copes imaginable.

Annnnnnd of course, Nick's responses show his entire priority is how it impacted HIM and how HIS life is better now. He just "laughs and moves on." Those other people... Who? Oh, yeah, they're great: The kids are "fine" and "great," Kayla's...who knows but still there and he really likes her, and he hopes April is fine, because she's a great girl and he really likes her.

Imagine your dad "laughing" about turning your life upside-down seven ways to Sunday.

What happens to a narcissist when pelted with tomato's for days? Does he improve?
Very very rarely, and at best manages it like a dry drunk. But in this case, no.

Does he have a psychic break and need to build himself up again.
Sometimes, and the continued attention, even if not his ideal form of it, still feeds some of his needs. But he's very angry because he can't control everyone now. How dare these peon critics deviate from the script! Nick knows what's right and what's best, and it's just weird and no longer funny that anyone thinks he's not a really cool guy and a sexy motherfucker*.

* clever Minnesota (Prince) reference :)

Yeah, he doesn't care about view numbers even thought the latest wave of mockery over his numbers was caused by him flinging shit at Meme Copium on Twitter for his live view count, only for both Meme and Kurt to turn around and solidly beat his live view count the following day.

Sounds legit.

Kurt pulled nearly 7k live views interviewing TurtleBoy's lawyer the other day?! NOW I MUST PUNISH HIM FOR THAT BY PLAYING THE PIZZA CASSEROLE VIDEO!!!!
:really:

Absolute faggot shit. Are we now back to the thing from 2022-2023 where he "doesn't care"?

He's aligning with nobodies & PDF files, contradicting himself and outing himself daily, like a sub 90 IQ person on a construction job site who has had too many blows to the head in high school football.
This is something I keep seeing people post in the forums, and I just have to say it: this is not TikTok, Twitch, or YouTube. You can say "pedophile" instead of "PDF file", you can say "kill yourself" instead of "self delete", and "murder" instead of "unalive."

This site allows the worst slurs with basically no limit of words you can say outside of fedposting, for fuck's sake.

This is a screenshot from my phone at about 11am but it looks like Nick got algorithm'd this morning. Which is funny and weird because his numbers are even worse than they were last week.

I'm not surprised that his viewership is dropping - the old Nick Rekieta is gone. I used to be a big fan, would watch most nights for his evening show going back to pre-WeebWars, watched his trial streams, all of that. He used to legit be funny and have good commentary. Now if I click on to his stream, if he's talking at all he's just raging about his personal dramas with other Lawtubers that have turned against him, he has no insightful commentary and you have to hear about Kurt's pizza casserole and Sean's sandwiches for the millionth time.

His career is over. If/when he goes back to his night streams it won't be any different. His brain is cooked from drug abuse, he doesn't know how to be funny anymore, he doesn't know how to do entertaining coverage of current events anymore. Once Karen Reid is over, he's going to have fewer live viewers than Steeltoe.

If I'm one of these people that Rekieta thinks he can felt, I'm absolutely playing clips from the coke stream. These people are much too nice to Nick. I'd have that clip of him beating himself off under the desk on continuous repeat. If I'm Kurt, I'm playing it side by side next to the clip of me applying the Preparation H.

"Which one looks worse, viewer? You be the judge?"

Legit question: Why is Nick playing a video of Kurt and talking about pizza casserole?!
Because Nick's seething that Kurt, who he made fun of for getting less viewers than him, is now getting more viewers than Nick, so Nick needs to embarrass Kurt by playing a mildly embarrassing video about food.

To Nick, eating food and being fat is disgusting, hence why he starves himself and his kids.

I found it rather odd that he wasn’t receiving more pushback on the whole sobriety narrative. First, he was Mr. “Sober Since June,” then suddenly became Mr. “More Sober Than Andy Warski,” followed by Mr. “As soon as I could, I went back to my favorite whiskey—but didn’t like it,” and now he’s Mr. “30 Days Sober.” Quite the evolving timeline.
I think the timeline is actually pretty clear.

After he was arrested in late May 2024, he paid the unconditional bond to avoid being drug and alcohol tested. In early June 2024, he had a hearing for his CHIPS case where he was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol testing. He presented a urinalysis test at this hearing which showed that he was still drinking after his arrest.

The testing for his CHIPS case appears to have been in place for roughly 5 months between early June and early November 2024. There is no reason to believe that Nick failed any of his tests during this time period. However April's friend Keanu claimed that during this period they started using whippets to get high without failing the tests. Despite this, he bragged about how he was sober, and how easy it is to get sober, and how he looked down on the people he had to deal with at the rehab that's not a rehab who were actual addicts.

In early November 2024 he had his last test. This was the test Keanu said he was late for, with Kayla blaming April, though he dodged having to do extra testing as a result of this incident. Nick's erratic behavior escalated dramatically almost immediately in November with Nick posting Aaron's search history and Nick and April interacting bizarrely with each other in public throughout the month of November. Nick would also call into Melton with his camera off.

Nick says he was "sober" starting a few days prior to his sentencing in April 2025. In other words he was likely at the very least drinking throughout the entire November-April period. And the only thing stopping him from drinking is the fact that he is being tested.

Nick’s all-consuming, psychotic obsession with Aaron is something he should speak to a psychiatrist about. The fact that he continues to tweet about Aaron and talk about Aaron when he’s supposed to be providing trial commentary is something any dude in his right mind would he embarrassed of. But Nick will do anything to draw more people into his fixation. By continuing to talk about Aaron, he keeps the relationship alive and active.
The same thing can be said about Aaron talking about Nick for the past year.

The only positive attention they can reliably get outside of their small and dwindling fanbases is by going after the other. The fact that they are still doing this over a year after the last time they interacted with each other suggests that they're going to keep doing it for as long as anyone cares.

That’s such an Ethan Ralph move. He has NOTHING so he just rehashes the same tired bullshit from years ago. He’d be so much better of just not engaging 😆

“Oh yeah John Potter, well you wrote you wanted to kill your mom when you were 25.”

I just can't get over Nick's desire to see himself as 'chaos' and a Joker archetype. It's not only juvenile, but it's completely at odds with the fact that he has had everything handed to him in life. Usually nihilistic characters (or real people) come from broken backgrounds. Nick cannot claim any right to nihilism when he had every opportunity to win at life. It must suck to be such a fuckup that you have to burn your own life down simply because you lacked the capacity to do anything good with it.
