We had a lovely lady named Jamie Walton on the Kiwi Farms about a decade ago who was a volunteer with the Wayne Foundation. Her nonprofit did one of the nicest things I've ever heard: at all hours of the day, she was on call. If the police scooped up a child that was in danger (usually, the victim of child sex trafficking) she would open her home to them. If the police called at 4am, she would get up, drive over to the police station, pick up the child after the police were done, and then keep them until she could place them at another volunteer's house. State law required that the navigator/coordinator and the temporary placement be different people, so for only a few hours to a few days at a time, she was with hundreds of little kids during one of the worst parts of their entire lives. So I tried to find a local version of that.

Well I don't know if this particular charity has people that qualify for sainthood like she clearly does, but it seems like they do good work and on casual glance appear responsible with money. I think its a good choice.

Found something mildly interesting. Right around the time he was fired from his job in August, Game Show-obsessed troon-chasing Lolcow Cory Anotado decided to rerelease a story that he wrote in High School as a way to make money in order to pay off the mortgage on his house, but nobody bought the book.

The book itself is only 99 cents on Amazon but I decided to just look at what the sample had to offer. I like how in the intro he admits that the only reason why he rereleased it was to make money and how he tears down his old Conservative Christian upbringing.

They have a link to list their board of directors, but have no one listed. I'm not objecting, just stating an observation. I hope ms Walton's legacy can be continued across the nation.

Also... Aww I think donating from Lolcow LLC/the farms directly would be awesome. You would pull a lot of people in from future donations if you said 'I've met my goal and I want to donate the profits'.

Timestamp where engagement is mentioned/highlighted -- what he says about the black community is universal, which is why I've decreased my intake of social media videos depicting Whites getting beaten as much as possible.

what happened is CNN were likely bullied into releasing the full hour
Tim has spoken on a bunch of famous podcasts, including Joes and Theos, telling them he was told they were going to edit the CNN interview down
everybody laughed, saying "typical CNN", and to own the chuds i guess CNN released it in full, which ironically the chuds loved

I thought it funny [not ha-ha but odd] that Tim Dillon said that RFKJr. has been saying the same thing for decades and finally others are coming around, because I keep seeing little news items wherein he is doing a 180 and not making any 'good' policy when it comes to these allegedly cherished beliefs.

Why are they armed with rifles? I don't have a problem with guns, I'm just wondering if this is normal for what looks like standard cop patrol.

A good .223/5.56 load is less likely to over penetrate and hurt anyone else than a handgun round actually. And it'll kill em faster. And yeah it's standard practice.

After the North Hollywood shootout, police departments around the country started to replace their shotguns with rifles. Today most if not all departments have rifles in their cars. This aids in defeating body armor, as well as improving accuracy at longer ranges. Though the latter is still mostly determined by the officer.
