Might just be me but horizontal rulings appear in a thread preview but don't seem to show up in the thread itself.

Yeah, this has been mentioned like 3 times on here, just to let you know.

Every single profile of banned user I've seen and checked have "This user's profile is not available." For example, https://kiwifarms.st/members/sneed-s-mcsneedensen.119855/ , As I recall he was banned before setting your profile private was available.

That's exactly why.

Prior to the change, their profile was set to "private" but the feature was "broken" so you could see it, once "unbroken", their profile is no longer viewable.

Would it be possible to paste/attach images as thumbnails by default?

For a a few reasons:
1.) A lot of retards don't know about thumbnails and shit the place up with blown up images
2.) It would be more convenient for non-retards who know to use thumbnails (yes its two buttons, call me a lazy nigger. i dont care. i like convenient UIs.)
3.) The thumbnail button is really annoying to use while phonefagging
4.) Its annoying to have a retard post a full image and have to read other sperging out about it.

This is a very minor grievance but a grievance nonetheless.

When clicking on a thread normally it defaults to the last point at which you were viewing it. This is very nice and convenient.

However when clicking on a thread when its in the new Active Threads tab it defaults to the start of the thread. Is this intended? If so, why?

Would it be possible to make it so clicking on a thread in the Active Threads tab defaults to the last point at which you were viewing it instead?

One way to upload images on Kiwifarms on Tor and without disabling canvas-fingerprint-protection is by converting the images to webp format yourself.

And you can easily do that if you have FFmpeg added to your PATH (you just download it, extract, and add to PATH), and execute a batch file (on Windows) with the command for the conversion inside the folder where you want your images converted, like:

for %%F in (*.jpg, *.png) DO ffmpeg -i "%%~F" "%%~nF.webp"

Once double clicking that file, it should take all JPG and PNG files inside the folder and make a WebP for each one.

Getting an error when attempting to upload Images, cleared the cache and ctrl+f5'd but still getting it. As I cant attach the error the message is:
"The upload failed because the file could not be written to the server. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded"

Edit: it happens when copy pasting in an image (slightly different error: oops we ran into some problems) or using the attach files button (Above message)

There seems to be a Linux (Mint) Tor unique bug (not an issue on windows). When I try to upload images it creates an incoherent mess of data. At first I thought I had something configured incorrectly but when I tried uploading an image to any other site there was no issue. Not sure if it's an odd coincidence if it isn't. Here's an example:

I looked into the message history of this thread and found a better solution. For whatever reason "insert image" doesn't break the image. It's probably a simple fix to apply the same code to "attach files." If you fix it other users struggling with the same problem won't have to come here and make you leak because they asked the same question for the 500th time

I missed the whole webp debacle, so maybe people already reported this, but uploading images (tried both PNG and JPG) through "Attach files" (1) breaks the image. "Insert image" (2) works fine, but it's cumbersome to use - you can upload only one image at a time, plus it inserts a full image, so you need to delete it from the post and then insert the thumbnail.

The Beauty Parlor, Fishtank, Gunt, and SPORTS! chats are viewable without an account, but I'm not sure if this is intended considering that the General and Keno Kasino chats aren't visible to guests.



Not shown but guests can't type messages (I only tested in Beauty Parlor chat) and doesn't seem to be browser/OS specific (does this on Brave (PC and mobile) as well as Firefox (PC)).
