As said before this is really sloppy. Kinda sad. As I've said before probably a half dozen times. Personal issues with Bam I have never been a fan. I love OG skating from right before he blew it up. He was never great his style sold CKY sold. I get it.

Since it's uninvolved laugh at the net shit, like this whole site is. I'd love to see Bam clean up and run a skate shop. Part of it not just nice for kids to have a good skater run a shop, but also look at this chuckle fuck of a man. All his fuck ups, all the help all the fucking dumb moves all the fails... if he turns it around it'll be pretty funny and a net good for the world. I'm down with an unexpected happy ending.

But, heavy on the UNEXPECTED part.
 
After countless rumors Bam has been confirmed as a playable character in the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake.

The story goes that Tony demanded Activision put Bam in at the last minute.

Bam dresses like a low-level lieutenant on an episode Miami Vice who gets his ass kicked for information. But he's got a face like one of the rednecks in Deliverance who cheers in the background while the one guy gets raped over a tree stump. He looks like he's about to get arrested for selling a brick of flour to an undercover cop and telling him its cocaine, and somehow the flour will still be cut with fentanyl.

Between the facial hair and the face tattoos and the fat I always thought he looked like a washed up cholo. Before this thread if you showed me a picture of Bam and told me it was the guy who says "you gotta keep em separated" in that Offspring song I would have believed you.
 
I don't get why so many people in this thread and the Bamosphere in general seem to want Bam to fail or die of a drug overdose or some shit so fucking badly. I get that the guy is an immature alcoholic dick who never grew up, but what do you expect for a washed up (literal) autistic MTV star? I liked CKY and Jackass back in the day, I thought Bam was a twat, but I don't really want to see him drink himself to death. He was a great editor, skater and general entertainer way back when, it's depressing to see someone with his talents turn into such a fucking mess. He had a real skill for being naturally funny, and it's still there under the absolute carcrash he's turned into - He has so much wasted potential it's unreal. I'd love to see him get his shit together, have a meaningful relationship with his kids, make a proper YouTube career for himself and do something productive in the skate community again. People who want the worst for him come across as weirdly bitter and obsessed with his downfall for no apparent reason. Bam is one of the few lolcows I actually want to see win, he's likeable in a cringeworthy sort of way.

I would absolutely love for him to get his shit together, but when you've been deceived and let down so many times, it tends to harden your heart a bit. Makes you less confident in the person, and while you don't necessarily want to see him fail or die, you want this shit to end one way or another and you don't wanna get your hopes up again.

As the OP (who once made it a poll guessing what would be the cause of death for Bam) he was really insufferable blaming everyone but himself. I also didn’t like how he was doing hard drugs in the same house as his kid Phoenix. You’re white knighting the same Bam who at his worst was crying he was going to kill his mother April Margera - this allegation was from Jess Margera.

I’m happy for Bam now I hope he continues being soberish.
 
As I and others have said of knowing Bam before fame, he's always been a spoiled asshole. Do i hate him ? Not really I'm past the shit he's done ( like ive mentioned before throwing his skateboard at my brother when he was a child and bam was a near if not legal adult because bam was grouchy).

It's just well predictable a spoiled jackass who's never worked for himself or lived like an adult will just wake up one day as one.

Could he do it and do good? Sure will he? It's a lot easier to get drunk and act like you're still cool.

I don't disagree that Bam was an insufferable asshole, and I'm not white-knighting him - His situation is entirely his own doing, and if he wants to have a future, he has to unfuck things for himself and make amends with people he's shat all over. The way he has treated everyone around him is despicable and I can understand being unsympathetic towards him, but it's insane to me just how many people genuinely do have a seething hatred towards him to the point of actively wanting to see his downfall get even worse. There are always a lot of these people in YouTube comments and on Reddit whenever he's brought up, I just find it incredibly weird, even for a careercow like Bam to have just this many people who want to see him completely finish himself off, it's unhealthy. I find it pretty sick whenever someone is rooting for almost anyone's decline, Bam just happens to have a lot of people like this in his anti-fanbase who are super dedicated and invested in seeing it happen even when he tries to do better for himself.

I think current day Bam is making moves in the right direction as well, and I want to see him continue down the path he's currently on. It's always good to see someone getting healthier and trying to be less of a piece of shit. It doesn't just improve his life, it improves the lives of everyone around him. When Bam wins, everyone close to him wins.

I feel it, but I'm also quite cautiously optimistic after seeing recent videos of him. I think this is the best he's been doing in years, and this time is the true make or break period for him. There's absolutely no chance of ever fixing shit if he fucks up again going forward, it's why I'm going all in on total Bam victory. I want to see him make it happen, and I sincerely think he can if he just keeps his shit in order and gets some momentum going again. I might be retarded and overly hopeful for him and his family, but I don't think I'm a white-knight or a Bam apologist for hoping the guy betters himself and finally grows the fuck up. Better late than never.

I don't know if it matters, but I have a kid about the same age as Bam's son, so I am half rooting for him for his kids sake. It'd be awesome for his son to be able to look up to the legacy his father has built, be proud of his ability to conquer addiction and build a new career for himself if he can make it happen. It'd be one Hell of a comeback story, maybe he could actually stand as both a good and bad example for his kid to learn from in the future.
