Careercow Brandon "Bam" Margera - From Jackass to Lolcow

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The first minute just says it all...
The way his eyes dart around trying to put his feelings to words and the way that Bam just slags him off would be an Oscar winning scene. Like the gas station scene in No Country for Old Men. A confused old man fumbling with his words while a psychopath lays his contempt out bare.

I'm honestly appalled either of these fucking things actually exist, because they look like the least practical, most ridiculous fucking vehicles ever built. Practically designed to crash and fall apart. Those stupid ass tusks alone are gonna cause so many problems with parking and tailgating. It's like if someone actually tried to make a stupid ass anime sword into a real weapon.
Wow you're telling me an ostensibly roadgoing chopper trike on caterpillar tracks and a mud tire isn't practical to ride?

It's an essentially static art piece. The fact you think it's meant to be ridden just shows you're autismo.

Reactions from reddit.
r/jackass
Bam: "I'll give you...$500 bucks every time I Get 100 grand."

April: "What are you, MTV?"

So good. Love how everyone had to process Ape's great joke and then lost it, lmao.
That's at 1:03:56, right before the end montage. So good.
This one has Phil's warning to Bam about rich people becoming assholes if im not mistaken
Right at the beginning, as others pointed out. Oof.
Is this genuine? Why was it never released?
I believe it’s just unreleased archival footage put together to make what could have been a CKY 5
You can find some of Dico's YouTube material on there I believe. Unless it's pieced from Cattle Bag, which I never saw.
Damn, this is incredible seeing footage that was cut from the other films, seeing behind the scenes footage talking about the first jackass movie success, Viva la Bam before they start filming, and at 4:20 the first time I’ve ever seen Ryan Dunn puke. WOW
Can someone explain to me what exactly CKY5 is? New material or just kinda stuff thrown together? I saw no real info on how it happened.
I asked starcat and I got this response-

I’d love to talk about it someday in detail but basically i was hired to remaster the movies for frantz but there were a lot of issues in preserving the original vision of the videos and none of it really worked out the way i wanted but one of the things i did was edit this movie with 70% unreleased footage and other rare stuff that was never properly showcased anywhere and make a new CKY video as a bonus feature (i made new scenes for all the videos to have new extended versions + a best of compilation + a haggard remaster + CKY:IDR video album)
Does that mean, “Bam didn’t like what I did” or, “I didn’t like the material and wanted to re edit it myself”?
I think it means they were unable to clear the same songs and such that were in the original videos and would be unable to release them in a way to make money without severely changing editing that often matched the music
"starcat" seems to be someone called Zera Starcat. r/cky seems to know much more about this stuff than me.

This is a video from Brandon DiCamillo on Youtube
This made it into CKY 5.
Ditto for this.

yeah bro its crazy almost like I was being purposefully hyperbolic for the sake of humor.

How did I forget about r/letstalkbam reactions? Silly me.
Some unique stuff never seen before, but with a lot of filler from outtakes, scenes from Jackass and other media that are mostly known. Whole thing seems a bit roughly edited at times, but it's not bad.

This should've been released ages ago. Thanks for the post, Chris.
Agreed. I think the main issue is that by the time of the post CKY4 era Bam and crew stopped filming themselves and so everything ended up being property of Viacom MTV. I think that’s why there’s so much nudity and peeing in this one. That stuff would never be on tv. Then of course everyone left immediately at the end of Viva La Bam
That might be it. Most of the footage is from when he still lived at the first house he bought. It's just a mix of unused and behind the scenes stuff from CKY3 and 4 mostly with some new scenes filmed before the first season of VLB in late 2003. Even though there were some later footage in there from 2004/05 and Castle Bam.
Huh what is this? I'm at the laundromat so cant watch yet? Where does this hail from ??!!
It's an unofficial edit by Zeracat. The same guy that did the CKY "HD remasters" with/for Frantz. Probably been in the making for 3 or 4 years I'd think and it just got finished.

  • Informative
Reactions: Bassomatic
Having skimmed through CKY 5, I'll mention more things about it.
  • Bless Brandon DiCamillo. Funny thing is that in CKY 5, there's a full version of the Swab The Deck music video. Only like, 20 seconds of it aired on MTV. The highlights in general include Dico, imo. There's a high quality version of the music video for Dicamillo Sisters - But Why's It So Cold? in the movie too.
  • Speaking of MTV, maybe their limits via censorship were a good thing. I don't need to see male junk even if it's for the old crew having a good time. Hell, even the Swab The Deck video has a nasty old CKY clip mixed in where someone is wiping his ass from the looks of it.
  • Seeing Bam get piss drunk is not a good sight, considering how he ended up.
  • The last song that played is Better Than Get Even by CKY, over a montage that really reminds you that Bam had it all. Then there's some lame clip where Bam's talking to Phil and April before the end. They should have ended it with the one where Phil says he'd rather be poor and have a happy son. Particularly the part where Phil says "well, I don't know what the fuck I did wrong..."
The song that opens the movie: Rock 'n' Roll - The Sounds
The song that closed the movie:
Its lyrics, they got my noggin joggin'
Nowhere to hide I'm alive & you're blind
Yeah there's no way for you to win
You're living in your sins & I'm fine
(Here we go)

If you're looking for a war I'm here to fight
No, I ain't looking to get even
And if you're really keeping score I'd start tonight
'Cause I'll do better than get even

So, Watch your back
Look all directions
Open your eyes
Pay more attention (here we go)

Second to none, only one at the top
With an ego thicker than your skin
Created your own spin, who you're not
Here we go

If you're looking for a war I'm here to fight
But I ain't looking to get even
And if you're really keeping score I'd start tonight
Yeah I'll do better than get even

If you're looking for a war I'll win the fight
No, I ain't looking to get even (here we go)
And if you really want some more I say alright
But I'll do better than get even (so)
The 20 seconds of the Swab The Deck song that aired on MTV:
Dicamillo Sisters - But Why's It So Cold (low quality public version)

Okay so I stopped at a little comicon yesterday for shits and giggles and I was given this little ad card for a horror convention in South Carolina but I just now actually looked at it and all I have to say is who the FUCK paid this loser to be a "special guest" at a HORROR CONVENTION? You might as well pay M Night to do a panel on "writing a satisfying plot".

What’s that fat loser got to do with horror movies? He’s a horror show… not quite the same thing.

I like that it’s the VIP’s last name and then what they’re famous for except “Margera B❤️✡️M.”

Not much to joke about Bam on from his Instagram, he saw Phoenix and I’m happy he’s at least seeing his son more than once a year. I really would love to know more about Navid The Shaman.

Obligatory zomg I loved Jackass as a teenager and still rewatch the movies about once a year or so

If nothing else, I hope Bam sticks around as long as possible just because he's such a naturally amusing guy, at least when he's in a somewhat functional state. He's got that Charles Barkley/Mike Tyson streak in him where he just can't help but say funny shit without even really intending to.

Ya ever seen "The Bates Haunting"?

It was an incredibly low budget and shitty horror movie of which Bam and Dunn made cameos in and helped with the production.

Note: It had nothing to do with the Bates Motel series starring everybody's favorite autist surgeon Freddie Highmore...
