What would your preferred bill be? Its been established Biden's progressive agenda (IRA, BBB, and IIJA) were utter failures and caused massive inflation. Even the tariffs you complain about are not unique to Trump, and were expanded by Biden and defended by him.. Hell, the biggest unions in the US, like Teamsters and UAW, support the tarriffs because they believe it will protect their jobs.
Trump won the election largely because of inflation and his total mishandling of Gaza that forced Biden's coalition to retract into infighting.
The culture war isn't only something Republicans engage it, and largely came to being because of Obama polarizing the country by elevating the grievance politics of Black Lives Matter and promoting DEI in government. The electoral shifts in New York, New Jersey, and even the bluest parts of Florida to the right were largely cultural. Without fighting for culture; you're just going to treat the country like an economic zone. That does not inspire people to continue the American project because without meaning life lacks purpose.
Telling the average American not to have any concerns about the decline of Christianity, influx of foreign ideas, languages and cultures from immigrants changing the fabric of their communities is not a winning message. Nor is telling them its okay men should compete in women's sports and share prisons with them. Telling them to just close their eyes as they see people here on visas tear down their cultural icons for "being genocidal" isn't going help the country at all. Voters are just going to hate you and despite you for it. Especially in a world where the media dominates, and spreads culture, to every facet of your life.
