In Current Year there is art depicting the leftists as heroic "decent human beings" with "diversity", and Trump depicted as demonic and Trump voters as literal demons. Also, that art is likely not meant to be ironic. I do not think the "politically correct" of the decades before Current Year got that deranged and cult-like, whether it be hippies against Nixon nor Democrat voters against younger Bush. I think "social media" readily available on "smartphones" and "social engineering" from MSM and Big Tech is to blame.

The Spanish Civil War had those and Franco had a general who was loosely aligned with his faction rape them with Moroccan mercenaries and played the rapes over Republican Radios to demoralize them.

The big thing with the Spanish Civil War as I’ve read it was that the Nationalists (Franco) typically could be negotiated with and even if you got beaten they had some justice system. The Republicans (not a uniform faction, basically anarchists, socialists, Communists, and Utopians) didn’t have any one authority to go to. They had utopian ideas of militaries without hierarchy (fucking failed) and so a neutral citizen would just get robbed by them and have no one to turn to.

There was actually a neutral women’s faction that gave aid that eventually sided with the Nationalists due to the Republicans being incredibly difficult to work with and insanely ideologically retarded. The women’s faction was fairly Catholic and the atheist communists and Anarchists would rape and enslave them with the justification that they were needing of it.

The women in the Soviet Union as fighters is exaggerated, but a lot of them served and saw some combat due to the dire straits the Soviets were in. They reinforced positions that were mostly safe, but a few were vanguard on some positions, iirc. The bigger thing was Soviet women being the infrastructure for the Soviet war machine. They did a lot of work. Even the laundry women worked hard as shit until the US properly started giving them shit.

A quarrel between one of the Africans and a Chinese security guard, who had suspected that the women the African students tried to bring into the campus were prostitutes and refused their entry, led to a brawl between all the African and Chinese students on the campus which lasted till the morning, leaving 13 students injured. The brawl included other African students besides the two stopped by the security guards

By this time, Chinese students from Hohai University had joined up with students from other Nanjing universities to make up a 3000-strong demonstration that called on government officials to prosecute the African students and reform the system which gave foreign students more rights than Chinese students. On the evening of December 26, the marchers converged on the railway station while holding banners calling for human rights and political reform. Chinese police managed to isolate the non-Chinese students from the marchers and moved them by force to a military guest house in Yizheng outside Nanjing. The protests were declared illegal, and riot police were brought in from surrounding provinces to pacify the demonstrators, which took several more days

The Nanjing protests were groundbreaking dissidence for China and went from solely expressing concern about alleged improprieties by African men to increasingly calling for democracy or human rights. They were paralleled by burgeoning demonstrations in other cities during the period between the Nanjing and the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and massacre, with some elements of the original protests that started in Nanjing still evident in 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, such as banners proclaiming "Stop Taking Advantage of Chinese Women" even though the vast majority of African students had left the country by that point.
