Brian was a weird case. He was unappealing and douchey and not exactly content but not exactly nontent. At least him freaking out on someone once in a while was entertaining but the enjoyment didn't come from liking him and wanting to see him dominate someone or from hating him and wanting to see him break down. We were just starved for content a lot of the time. Brian and Trish in the closet was creepy and nobody wanted that, but it wasn't weird and bad enough to be laughable or outrageous like Burt's gay antics for instance.

At least half of what tay wen through was due to her own actions. Nobody made her debase herself to Frank, nobody made her shave her head, nobody made her throw out romans. Shes a fucking loser and all that happened was her being a natural loser being televised to the internet. Even post tank she has created her own worst outcomes lol.

Because Megan did have a lot of potential, when she got angry she had a lot of venom in her insults that would make people sperg out. Its not in the episodes but during the hogtying on Christmas morning Megan and Tay are at rock bottom for their Jimmy yapping tolerance since both are sick with covid for the past few days and Jimmy was being extremely annoying that particular moment by constantly giving unsolicited advice to Ben about how to tie them up more effectively. Megan and Tay start insulting him alternating between being openly aggressive and passive aggressive "Thanks Jimmy, great work right there we're so happy you're being helpful." Even Ben got so fucking annoyed with Jimmy that he literally wrapped a bandana around his face to make him shut up. At the end of the challenge Jimmy freaks out and is shouting at Tay while walking away and Megan dives right back in with the insults telling him to "Shut the fuck up retard" only for him to throw a chair at her, which makes her double down with the 'Contain yourself retard."



I don't have a screenshot for it but it was probably 4-5am on Day 2 in the living room, Summer, Megan and Tay were in the living room talking and Summer made her first mention about mental illnesses. Megan and Tay pumped Summer for information then immediately started gaslighting Summer into believing that seeing apparations in the corner of her eyes and hearing stuff randomly is totally normal and they totally have the same issues too and its no big deal to see shadow people in the next room over. Megan's skillset was being able to get under people's skin with pointed insults and trolling but she got sick with covid and lost interest in the show.

Every time you lose a fish the show gets weaker and losing Megan instantly made Tayleigh driftless until she paired up with Jimmy, the same happened to Brian when Cole quit, Brian was left without a nemesis and eventually was eliminated by a rigged vote since he had no purpose on the show. The beginning of the season is always more dynamic than the end of the season because fish will pair up with each other and losing their right hand to walk offs or kicks fucks the show. S1 had the same issue with Jon leaving, it made Letty far less interesting for weeks since she had nobody to manipulate and partner with at times.

Yeah its a highlight of her ability to get under Jimmy's skin but also was the moment she realized that Jimmy was deeply unstable in a violent way and if she noticed it the wiggers almost certainly would have and would continuously keep probing it for content so she walked since she was miserable from being sick. She had moments where she was just sitting in the bunk looking at the wall rocking back and forth from panic attacks but when she was engaged and doing stuff she was pretty solid at her niche.

I could not stand Brian during S2. I had to mute the tab every time he would go off about the soup kitchen or whatever, it was harder to listen to than Jimmy sperging. But yeah, he redeemed himself a bit during bloodgames.

As for Meg, there must be an alternate universe somewhere where she won the whole thing but in our world she never had a chance. I was thinking she might be a dark horse for awhile but it was pathetic how she got glazed by production and fish alike after the wall sit challenge where Shinji clearly let her win.

Worst contestant is a toss-up between Megatron and Sylvia. Meg wins for me given that she tapped out so quickly.

The "Brian redeemed himself in BG" angle is so retarded. I get the bar was extremely low for him off the back of S2, but if you think doing a poor-quality Arthur Morgan/John Marston impression is redemption (Red Dead Redemption?), then I don't know what to say to you.

The BG performance summed Brian up to a tee; he copies other, funnier/more entertaining people's schtick and does it with less than 10% of the entertainment value of the original. It's like how his standup bit in S2 was just half-remembered Cumtown bits and 4chan jokes. Similarly, when he and Jimmy did the 'Make each other laugh' competition, all Brian could really muster up was a half-arsed Joe Swanson impression, which was probably just an impression he heard Nick do on Cumtown.

Jimmy freaked out because he was second to last to get free, every time he did poorly in a challenge it made him tard rage. We all saw it live and you can see it in the edit as well, he's screaming and kicking the wall before Meg even says a word (and if we're talking about insults, Tay was doing more and she was doing it first, Meg just latched on). All she said to him to get him to throw the chair was "shut the fuck up" which wow, anybody could say and most people would in that situation. At best, Meg's insults were just icing on the cake. Meg was nothing but nontent, because she was off her meds she was dopey and slow, the pee in a cup was about as exciting as Damiel not flushing the toilet and she left early because she's weak. She was thinking about quitting even before the Jimmy chair throwing incident.

99% of the time she was just furniture, and this was early in the season before all the contestants had been beat down into doing nothing all day.

I like what Tay brought into the final week but ultimately its a Sophie's choice of who's the least terrible winner.

Thinking on it it is interesting that both Seasons 2 and 3 have a 'no good winner' scenario at the end. Maybe this is the future for the main seasons.

I had forgotten how paypigged to the max this show was even at the start. I had also totally forgotten about those thermostat fishtoys, they did away with those quick when they realized it doesn't instantly make the entire house cold or hot. TTS also started at 1500 tokens at night, 750 during the day and was lowered consistently as the show went on, plus various sales at certain times.
