Ian was never a good person. But Anisa made him worse. He is still a grown-ass man, so he is accountable for listening to her for everything, including betraying a friend and supporting the people who tried to use his kids as a weapon.0
At the end of the day, that's the true issue and what makes Ian so contemptable, and Anisa too. Back during the start of his long, slow tumble from relevance and popularity, after he did the Idubbbz Complains video on sex workers, he came across as a whiny cuck/simp , but while it was ill advised and really embarrassing, I wouldn't say it was unforgivable. And the whole "learning empathy at 30" and apologizing for the past content cops, came across as kind of disingenuous and pretty cringy, but again not the worst thing in the world.
In this case though, he and the creature he's married to betrayed a good friend-and no matter what he tries to claim now-Ethan was his friend. . And for what reason? to try and ingratiate themselves into a group of shitty, phony left wingers, that could care less about them. When Ian was on Hasan Piker's stream, you could literally see the disdain Hasan had for him. But he's still going to suck up to Hasan and his orbiters at the cost of losing what was once a true friend.
And let's not forget that this vitriol started when all the Kleins did was ask Ian and Anisa to speak up for them and say something like they've been to the Kleins' home, and its clean, Their children appear well taken care of and they aren't crawling around in dog shit. That would have been such an easy thing to do and none of this would have started. But instead they remained silent, and refused to defend the two friends that defended them and stood by them back when so many people were dog piling on them,
If the Jomhas had remained silent it would have been bad , but they might have been able to turn things around at some point, but instead, Ian acts like the Kleins attacked them out of nowhere, and he and his moron wife go on the war path. He makes that awful, unfunny content cop, doubles down with the content deputy where he claims he was attempting to help Ethan-yeah, doing that moronic Fortnite dance with Ethan's haters sure was an act of kindness.. And after the Content Cop and Content Deputy were received so poorly by the vast majority of viewers and commenters, instead of just pulling back and doing a bit of self reflection., they continue their attacks on their former friends. So now its clear Anus and The Raped aren't just LOL cows, he's not just a simpy cuck or a cucky simp who's lost his sense of humor and Anisa isn't just a pathetic try-hard, talentless, slutty skank-I mean they ARE those things, but not JUST, but they also are shitty, , hypocritical, assholes and just plain awful people.
Doesn't she and Ian live in a million dollar house, and potentially own more than one house? I know its a million dollars because of the area, but they are by no means poor. There are people that have basically zero hope of even owing property, that's poverty, Anisa. Either she's copying the Hasan cope of obfuscating how wealthy they actually are while preaching for the downfall of the rich, or their finances are currently on a downward trend and she's starting to spin up a broke persona to get ahead of the curve so she can claim she's always been like that.
Its hard to know how much money they have, but its almost certainly less than they did back when Ian was successful. His videos used to get millions of views, but now, other than the recent Content Cop and Content Deputy-his youtube output now gets a fraction of the views it used to get. Even the Content Deputy got like a sixth or seventh of the viewcount that the CC got, so he couldn't even hold on to the momentum for two videos in a row. Their podcast is a total flop, the last Creator Clash lost a quarter of a million dollars. I dont know if that financially impacted them personally, but it sure didnt help them. Obviously Anusa isnt bringing in much, if any money, so their income stream is almost certainly not great these days. Whether or not they are well off at present most likely depends on if Ian was able to save and/or invest what he earned back in his internet glory days.
Once she was able to pin point his weaknesses though? It was game over for him. Anisa had planned to control him from the start. And succeeded. Now, She is the one in charge as she wanted. Point is, Ian really was raped mentally by her.
Ian is like the real life version of Cameron from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, where Ferris predicts that Cameron is going to eventually marry the first girl he lays and she'll treat him like shit, because you can't respect someone who kisses your ass.
