Interesting bit of irony/coincidence here too. "Norm" passed away on May 20th. And the final episode of Cheers aired 32 years earlier to the day, on May 20, 1993
Too much of a coincidence

This VA has passed

He was quite honestly one of the last great things about “Reality TV” in the 2010’s. They may mock his conservative values and what not, but I knew many people that were interested in that entertainment that would much rather watch him over Jersey Shore and Honey Boo Boo any day of the week. Either way, this is a big loss.

I hope the family can survive without Phil on the show, for I’m sure his son will keep the Duck Dynasty legacy striving.

I never got his appeal, and still don't know how you can become a multi millionaire selling duck calls. Seeing his face on merch at Walmart was annoying as well.

No ill will toward him though.

They quietly threw him out after phil said he didn't agree with gay marriage in 2013. He wasn't in forefront again after that. BS, that's the second time I noticed(first being bb15) where they really punished someone and blew out of prportion what they were saying as some hitler like and deserving of punishment. The show got tiring after that as well.

On the plus side, he died during trumps presidency, instead of kamalas. spare me the politisperging, he was obviously conservative, and I want to think it brought some comfort to him in his last few months.
