This dude has yet to apologize for lying to the American people for years and berating his own guests when they pointed out the truth. Now he's on his redemption tour and putting out platitudes and pretending that he gets it. He's an entertainer and an activist. He gets nothing, except for the money and publicity he's currently receiving for being a pretender.

I understand mercy and redemption. I fully believe in it. But before that's extended, repentance and change must take place or it's empty words. I'm not for canceling and refusing to listen, but a book, redemption tour, and sob story doesn't show anything other than people are too quick to turn a blind eye to established patterns because of a few empty gestures. Now is the time for vigilant discernment.
I think this is very fair and is pretty much my position as well. If Tapper gets his shit together, then good.

But these career asians just have this mixed vibe of dread/horror/disappointment/regret that makes me want to give them a hug and tell them to come to a strip club with me and relax.

this is a huge part of social life over 35 on the west coast

they call it burning man parties instead of strip clubs but basically befriending azn burnouts and trying to give them the will to live by showing them titties is what there is to do here

Cool. You weren'r in an at-risk category. Not everyone who has an immune disorder earned it.

Bub.
"The vaccine saved you"
"well if it didn't, herd immunity saved you"
"well if it didn't not being at risk saved you"
I always wonder if backpedaling retards like you actually believe your own shit or if you have nothing better to do than huff government farts to keep yourself busy. If you're getting paid for this lazy shit you should get fired because you suck at it.

I think it's more of a religious person thing, I knew some badly behaved terrors when I was a child

lol I'm not Jewish how would I be spending time around religious Jews

how kids act towards each other and how they act towards adults have nothing to do with each other

Chinabros. I don't feel so good. Surely this had nothing to do with zombie tier workforce, Styrofoam walls or fake safety equipment, right?

Maaaaasive explosion at a pesticide chemical plant.

A facility like this, undergoing rapid discombobulation, has probably emptied metric tons of organophosphates into the environment. Which... is BAD. Like... Generational impacts bad. That area is probably fucked like 1/4 of Chernobyl levels fucked. Someone will probably dump videos of the actual explosion before too long. Looks fucking epic.

Chinese Bhopal? I wonder what interesting mutations will get out of there.

This doesn't disprove herd immunity, bub.
it doesn't disprove herd immunity as a concept, which was present without vaccines because of how contagious, asymptomatic, and non-lethal covid was from the very beginning to the vast majority of people

it disproves that herd immunity had anything to do with vaccines, which is what your post i quoted was referring to. especially considering the CDC changed the definition of a vaccine from "produce immunity" to "produce protection" in September 2021

herd immunity occurred naturally in spite of the clot shot, not because of it. the best way to prevent coivd deaths would have been to accelerate herd immunity by ignoring every single safety mandate and living your life normally

"We have a first amendment right to be funded by the Government"
if the courts don't instantly throw this out, you can be assured whatever judge hears this case is a completely owned asset, with no interest in the real constitutional establishment. there is no reasonable interpretation of the first amenedment that compels the federal government to fund any kind of organization at all. the first amendment is explicitly a limitation, not an explication. the constitution was written purposefully that the powers of government, the effective means of governing, might change as the times did, and the people needed simple, easy to understand guidance on how government should not be behaving, because it's up to them to decide how it SHOULD be, through alterations to the constitution made with supermajority voting of the states to ratify an amendment.

this case has ZERO legal standing on the first amendment, and it was an absolute mistake to take this to court on 1A grounds because the Trump admin is merely restricting funding, which the judiciary has proven completely ineffective at stopping him from doing. they will probably still manage to appeal the decision all the way to SCOTUS, and i'm sure justice roberts in his infinite wisdom will say that removing federal funding is the same as closing it down, so it goes back to the lower courts for a new hearing so they can determine if trump shutting down npr is constitutional, instead of ruling on the actual constitution that gives the president the power to determine where budgetary allotments are spent at his own discretion.

I was speaking in terms of the penetration of ideas and how far up they went to inform actual politics.

this is an illusion

"dark enlightment" nerd ideas are in a containment box

actual politics in the US is how people go from their local school board to their state legislatures to working on a governor campaign to staff for their senator in washington

to the extent those people know or care about anything on podcasts it's all the same, far right to far left. it only matters to them when podcast people make it clear they are voters and influencing other voters.

thiel's influence on vance makes it look like podcast people matter but the way you can tell it doesn't is that the podcast people aren't getting dc jobs. some of them are getting higher media profiles but that's not politics.

Really fucked up our economy across the board. Half of all our money was printed during Covid:

This was because economically illiterate leftoids screeched "money printer go brr." Such widespread illiteracy, unfortunately, has consequences.
The most telling thing about your graph is how it started climbing for the 2008 bailouts, you know, the ones they lie to our faces and say were all fully paid back. Look at a graph of the national debt and the same hockey stick really kicked off after 2008.

Every time I see this I simply point out that before every war people said that the American troops couldn't win anything.
we lost Korea, Vietnam, Syria, Iraq, and now Afghanistan

Its not a stellar track record, last real war was ww2, the rest are just conflicts with no stated goal or purpose beyond "Fuck em up"

Cool. You weren'r in an at-risk category. Not everyone who has an immune disorder earned it.

Bub.
Yeah. Not at an at risk category.

Catch disease with basically no risk

OR

Take experimental Vaccine.

Hard choice there BUB.

PS You're ugly, stupid, and no one will care when you die actually die, you fat fuck.
Oh man I am so owned by the person who is still afraid of Covid in the year 2025, go put your mask on cause you are near an Unvaxxed person, you might catch the Rona and have your weak ass keel over.

Feels like a cliché at this point, but we don't lose wars on the battlefield, we lose them because we have unwinnable political goals. Anywhere we send our troops the locals are getting massacred. We don't lose shooting fights. We lose when we try to "nation build"
