Ian couldn't have kept up the energy for his old videos, I think we all agree on that by now. But he still could have had the good ending. His friend h3 would have been happy to have him on as a regular character on the show, maybe doing some technical work. After all, he himself has said that the impression of high energy and confidence that he gave off in his old videos was all the result of a lot of editing and I can believe it, so he's capable of good editing.

And so I tried to imagine what he would have been like if he'd gone on to engineer the h3 podcast. He would sit back in his chair and look at the finished edit, full of pride and he would say

Richard Dawkins calls himself "cultural[ly] Christian" and to me that feels like a frank and honest evaluation of how despite being possibly the most well-known atheist in history, he was still raised completely surrounded by Christian culture and trying to pretend that he wasn't molded in some profound way by Christian traditions is dishonest. The difference here is that Richard is not saying this for clout, rejecting Christianity is a core part of his identity and has been for decades, this shows a level of humbleness... he's not special for being culturally Christian. The fighters can probably get out. The event is now changing radically enough that there is more than enough grounds to argue that the event no longer reflects the one they signed up for in the contract, and through no fault of their own, so they shouldn't be financially damaged for it or denied compensation for their work. That said, I imagine they'd just take the clean exit - it'd look kind of shit to demand money from a failed charity event, nobody wants to look like Anisa's husband back in CC2 keeping all the money from the poor planning. Better for most of them to just cut ties clean, call it a mistake, and make up the difference on ad revenue on content telling people about the shitshow.

I'm starting to think that Ian and Anisa are not fully to blame for the absolute trash fire that is Creator Clash 3. After the announcement tweets of them stepping down there has been nothing but radio silence from the new heads. Since then:

- There has been no word of who the two replacement fighters will be
- It's been over a week since H3H3 said the event was postponed with no official confirmation or denial
- Instead a couple of fighters have come forth saying that yes event is postponed while using words such as "maybe" and "I think", meaning that not even they know what's fully going on
- Tickets are still on sale for June and those trying to get refunds can't, not to mention money lost on plane tickets and hotels

They've had over a week to get their shit in order yet they can't. How hard is it to come out and say "Hey everyone, the event is postponed, full refunds are available, and we'll have more details soon." Instead we're getting two/third hand information. What the fuck are these new heads even doing?
