Hardin's language in the filing and in his email response to Greer certainly seems to indicate that Greer is now explicitly threatening to accuse Null of crimes if he doesn't accede to a settlement demand (as opposed to just whining "I'm going to the police" without any "or else" aspect, as he has been doing in the filings).

I'll be shocked if anything happens. A lot of legal demand letters are basically right up against the line for extortion anyways and a skilled lawyer will be able to ride that line fairly effectively. Russ is not a skilled lawyer, he's a retarded paralegal. Hardin will point it out and make a show out of it but ultimately it's like expecting someone to get sentenced for perjury.

Hmm, the document is "For attorney's eyes only." I'm pretty sure the District Attorney of Clark County, where Las Vegas is, is an attorney and may well be interested in attempted extortion in a federal case. Hmm, federal case... He didn't say beyond it might trigger something interesting if Greer actually filed a criminal complaint. But I'm pretty sure an Attorey's eyes only extortion attempt was way beyond what Sean was expecting.

To be fair, the possible criminal extortion in which Greer might have, maybe, engaged would need to be reported to the state or federal authorities by Null/Hardin, our happy little Utah judges in the civil nominally-copyright case aren't about to be doing anything.

I honestly do hope Greer is referred for criminal charges IF this does turn out to be what's in the redacted email. But that's gonna be up to our guys to decide.

The Judge proved he doesn't read most of the docket in the hearing when Hardin said Russell never sent the restraining order, and Judge was like "Oh, that gives me some context I didn't get from the filings" as if Hardin hasn't mentioned it 15 fucking times already.

I've said before I'm pretty sure the Judge just opens the docket every several months, sees 20 new filings and says "Aw man, I don't wanna read all that shit!"
So he clicks on the one on top, scrolls to the bottom and reads "Summary: Plaintiff honestly did comply"
