The gamble (I think) is that the courts are burning their legitimacy in hopes that Trump makes a move against the courts before the larger public gives up on the courts. Then they can say their moves were not only justified, but also point to Trump and call him a dictator more convincingly.

IIRC the courts DO have oversight in the language that handed the tarrif power from congress to Executive, but what's happening here is unprecedented. They didn't nuke all of them, but they nuked the important ones. Unless Trump goes Jackson mode or SCOTUS does something, it's really up to Congress to clarify, since it's their power at the end of it
But Congress works at the speed of Congress. These tarrifs were part of a larger play on the world stage to renegotiate with other countries and there for are pretty time sensitive.

Yeah. That's the problem. Can Trump "do something"? Yeah. The options are not good for the health of the country if he does, but he will shut up the judges on the bright side. At this point he can choose between Jackson or Lincoln in how to deal with faggot judges. One is ignoring them, the other is declaring a conspiracy and thus the system in rebellion.

For them to actually impeach they would have to win 13 senate seats, maybe a minimum of like 9 and hope that there are enough neocons still in office to actually impeach him, and with how the senate map looks in 2026 they're going to struggle with even getting two. That's why they weren't able to do it the first two times because they lost senate seats in 2018 due to there being quite a few democrat senators up for grabs in red states. That jeet also revealing the impeachment hand also likely screwed things up.
People complain about doctors developing god complexes, but these robed dipshits legitimately believe they have some sort of divine mandate to just do whatever they want and suffer no repercussions for it.
