Having experience with someone of a similar mindset it really does feel like they must be shamelessly acting or just lack some self control or something simple like that. But after 15+ years of nothing changing you start to see there really is something fundamentally wrong with how they think and how they perceive everything, it’s a little scary tbh

A very thoughtful post. There is another layer to this as well.

Yes, Kayla was the impetus for most of what made Nick appealing to a broader audience, especially for people looking for a rallying point during culturally tumultuous times. Being a Christian father/husband/lawyer in small-town Minnesota was an excellent persona for both Kayla and Nick. While this was going on Kayla and Nick could go see male strippers and do things within the Sektur that even made Andy Warski uncomfortable. All this as early as 2019.

Regarding the winemoms, it is not surprising that the most pathetic loyal of the bunch were much like Kayla. They were lewdposting in their degenerate hugbox with the mistaken assumption of privacy. Kayla knew what would happen if it got out, but rather than NOT engaging with others sexually outside her marriage, she chose to try and have her cake and eat it too:

In a way, Nick is still the husband Kayla wants because she has poor judgement and self-destructive tendencies of her own. Kayla wants to sing in church and at the Gay90s and Hedonism II. She is a woman of incompatible passions because she wants it all. This is why she is willing to jeopardize her church, drugs, family, marriage, and sexual partners to preserve her... well, church, drugs, family, marriage, and sexual partners. Remember, Kayla brought the Qover to church which only damaged her reputation with the church and ran counter to the Qover's pretense of "secrecy".

This is likely why Kayla hasn't left Nick yet; Kayla doesn't want to give anything up no matter who it hurts. It is pure greed and selfishness, especially for a mother of five.

For example, she tried to reconnect with Aaron on "neutral ground" after he left by saying that she hadn't done drugs. She later confessed to him that she had done drugs and that she lied to make him happy. This is because Kayla wanted both Aaron and the drugs. She only lost Aaron because he had the power to remove himself.

Kayla requested her medication when she was in jail. These would be the medications that Aaron was more familiar with.

What Aaron evidently didn't know is that Kayla's medication bottles contained other substances as well (2 unknown pills and a gummy).

No offense, this feels a little like copium. Withdrawal is a BITCH! Nick in jail has a prime opportunity to do the exact same suffering In jail where he can't hurt anybody else but himself. Just remember Nick still has kids whom are constantly endangered and embarrassed by his shenanigans. Nick has ensured anybody with the surname of Rekeita will forever be a laughingstock.

For the sake of those children Nick has got to go. Maybe he can have a gay little prison letter mini arc like Chris Chan where he convinces himself he's literally Jesus.

His arms and fingers go numb and he begins to experience random bouts of intense dizziness... Kind of like when he came back that one time during the Keanu stream with his entire head just wobbling around. It also explains why Nick seems so dizzy even when he's noticeably not fucked up. The damage he's doing to his body is something else and he's so intent on doing it against all decent advice that he's probably permanently going to be fucked up and in pain.

At least if he dies he becomes the funniest PSA. And we will all learn the meaning of Spirit Fingers.

There is an early interview with PPP of all people where he says his family picks and chooses beliefs from both their Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, but they go to a Protestant church when they choose to go. Any reasonably devout Christian could see at least two major red flags with his “Christian Trad Dad” facade from that statement alone.

“Picking and choosing” from two incompatible faith traditions shows his family wasn’t actually under discipleship of any sort of church and “when we choose to go” shows they were just LARPing from the get-go.

Kayla is utterly worthless.
