This is the most retarded fucking question that assumes the general public is witness to both controlled and uncontrolled demolitions regularly under a wide range of conditions and has studied the two in comparison.
Yes, you have youtube videos of endless controlled demolitions everywhere. But you have little to NO basis of comparison for uncontrolled collapses of high rises outside of some grainy ass earthquake or other geological event AND due to catastrophic structural damage. Clear video of this happening is pretty rare.
But what's hilarious here is that the most recent example we have is of the Florida condo collapse a few years ago. 2/3rds of it fell almost perfectly down and inward on itself. The East wing had almost perfect pancaking and fell with a slight drift to the south, but remained almost entirely in the property footprint. Almost like it was a controlled fall.
