Know Your Meme has it, under their "Trauma Dump Comics" stuff. Its called "Hey, Can I Come In" and it was also clowned on by Xitter. Most of these comics got random edits on Xitter because artists couldn't comprehend the idea of not oversharing personal shit on social media.

Self-Disparaging is incredibly common with these kind of people, especially the women. I have to talk to them because of work and its the worst. I can't tell if it's some kind of faux-humility or just severe and contagious impost syndrome. Either way it's horrifically low confidence.

Not that Ellen has anything to be confident about.

What is the verdict on Threads as a platform? We don’t have an official thread for Threads (The Threads Thread har har) but am I right in this assessment? Threads was planned to be the pre-2022 Twitter experience, but so few true and honest people used it, that they had to supplement it (mostly) with bots?

Sometimes Instagram will recommend me posts from threads that have some bullshit that would make even tumblr users shake their heads. Sometimes they’re incomplete too so I can’t get a proper screenshot for the Farms. But I refuse to download it because it’s supposedly infamous for looking at even more personal info than most other social media and you can’t delete it unless you also delete your Instagram. At least that’s how it was years ago, I don’t know if anything has changed.

I got rid of social media a few years ago, and I swear I've been mixing up Threads and Bluesky ever since the radical lefties very vocally migrated to them.

seems to be par for the course with artists, and a coin flip of whether its baiting for compliments or self hatred. knew one artist that kept doing it, and i thought was pretty good, i mean especially as an aquaintance/"friend" i mean youre not going to just be a dick, but whenever i'd say so it did nothing and they could possibly get angry or just ignore me and continue on about how they're just crap. it's one of those things that for a while you're empathetic about but then eventually get to just ignoring them or getting irritated. especially when they might be talking to someone who could barely draw stick figures at the time, and they draw acceptably-pretty good then go "fuck im shit, just a failure". art is entirely subjective, you'd think artists would know that shit by now, for example even though i like him, you have people like Basquiat who made millions off of largely notebook doodles, and incredibly skilled artists that killed themselves in the gutter. kinda why there's the known line of "do not become a fucking artist". if you work minimum wage and do art, great, but it's just a legit gamble. many classic authors and artists died unknown at first, chopin played as a glorified bar performer basically at his end.

plateauing also isn't a factor for comic artists like her imo, especially for web comics, they always plateau with maybe minor improvements. it's slop by design to be mass produced instead of a once a month or so painting. like the entire history of comic book covers looking awesome by one artist and then the majority of panels possibly looking like absolute dogshit by one or possibly even 2+ artists with at least one being even shittier. peanuts and garfield made noticeable changes over a good period of time but most modern ones don't and are just consistent slop like strange planet. it's also understandable that after consistently doing slop that her actual attempts at art would be rusty or untrained.

main problems are her ego, hugbox, simps, and making retarded choices. realistically there's no reason that she couldn't be capable of at least mild success with the sheer amount of absolute trash webcomics that have achieved decent popularity, some randomly getting merchandise and book releases, but she makes family comics and then porn on the same platform, which alienates a wholesome fandom, then makes absolute dogshit political posts from the perspective of someone in a gated community that thinks all homeless people just need money and are then good to go etc, which I'd hope even political retards would find dumb. she doesn't go full wholesome, whore, or minimum twitter political-take-of-the-day tier propaganda so she doesn't excel at anything, doesn't consistently produce any one type, which reduces a consistent fanbase or patrons, that may instead check once a month or so to see a family comic OR porn OR politisperging. it also means that she's not going to build a skillset on reflecting her family or emotional moments, making her art hornier, or building better strawmen. so her art/writing stays shittier and a fandom is limited.

plus the copyright strikes and editing crusades damages a fanbase/interest more than helps, and would make fans that would repost your comics and work as free advertising scared which limits reach.

in summary, classification: retard
