His best match so far has been against Gable in his debut and that's because Gable is calling the match and slowing him down. If there's any wrestler that would've benefitted from an NXT run, its Penta.

And you got to give it up for Chad Gable. My hope is that they let him loose in AAA and he tears the house down with everyone he's up against.

WWE has done a good job in presenting Penta like a star. He gets the big entrance with all the pyro and is given time to always do his walk and cero miedo pose. It was also smart to keep Penta and Fenix separated to establish them with singles runs first before inevitably putting them together (Raw's tag team division is the shits and needs a credible team so that would be my guess where they end up). Penta does need to clean up his matches, though. He rushes too often when he doesn't need to. That Gable match is a perfect example, Penta's stuff looks so much better when he slows down a little.

As for Gable, I'm wondering if he loses to Vikingo at Worlds Collide but then El Grande Americano beats Vikingo later on, then Americano goes down to Mexico and act like he's the greatest luchador of all time. I'm glad they're keeping the Gable/Americano story going, I was afraid they would end it quickly.

as a Penta mark before he was Penta, it's amazing seeing how much WWE has done to put him over
I was absolutely dreading the idea of "OH MY! The Lucha Libre Brothers are here on Heat!"

All of the VDS sufferers have been saying that Vince is totes done and he's totes gonna go to jail for 3 years now. It just reeks of desperation hoping that this finally means that their VDS can go away that they've been suffering from for at least 20 years all because he buried vanilla midgets like Lance Storm and Taka Michinoku. The main reason why Laurinaitis got dropped as a defendant by the way was because she didn't have any evidence against him.

I watched a bit of AEW recently since I'm sick of all the current WWE main event lines that aren't Gables'.
God help me, I'm actually enjoying it. Like ok, everyone still looks like a CAW, the Bucks are still annoying and there was this really dumb preplanned spot between FTR and a couple of other dudes where they dodge out of a double lariat which lead to friendly fire, but they botched the timing so FTR had to physically shove someone out of the way so that he can lariat his teammate, but I liked some of the wrestling(I really like it when it feels like they're physically brawling more than going through preplanned spot) and I like the promo between Swerve, Hangman and Osprey.
It's a breath of fresh air, is all I'm saying.

Abadon had an interesting look and played the character well but she was the drizzling shits in the ring and never improved in the 5 years she was with the company. Only had 7 televised matches.

Once the other newbie girls started improving and they signed people there was no slot to fit her in any more.
