He might have survived. We can't tell because the video cuts but it would really depend on how big the fireball was and how much it went up. The video cuts just before you would be able to tell if he got engulfed by the flames or if it just warmed him up without touching him.

I don't know what it is, but a lot of the old Spanish colonies seem to have the same problem. There's a bunch of people on A&N that'll give me trashcans and such every time I bring up how that shit goes on in the Mestizo and Indio families in central and south America, but it's not like it's something particularly well covered up. And they bring that shit up here too, it's why so many spics get caught doing sex crimes. Either the Spanish really fucked the people they colonized up or that people they colonized were really fucked up. Or both.

There was a discussion on twitter about whether or not this soldier was actually alive when the drone blew up, or if it was actually a corpse propped up as a decoy to attract drone. People were pointing out that the body is completely still and the fingers look like they may be in rigor mortis. I'm not sure if that's any better though, imagine your buddies sitting your corpse up to attract drones. Unless you use the enemy dead to do it, which is still morbid as fuck. Eastern Slavs man.

New video shows what led up to officers shooting and killing a man in Jacksonville following a standoff.
The shooting happened on Lenox Avenue on the Westside two weeks ago.
JSO says they arrived to a mobile home on Lenox around 8:20 p.m. on May 13 after they received multiple calls that a man, later identified as Calixto Benvenutti, 44, was standing on the front porch of the trailer holding a gun.
When they arrived, he went inside, which spiraled into a standoff with the officers, who demanded he disarm and come outside the trailer.
The video shows the moments where Benvenutti exited the trailer with a handgun, raised it up and then went back inside the trailer.
This portion of the video was not taken with a body-worn camera and does not have sound. JSO says officers told Benvenutti several times to disarm and come outside, but he remained inside.
SWAT officers came to the scene and continued to tell him to exit the trailer, JSO said, and the standoff lasted until the early hours of the morning of May 14.
He is then seen on camera picking up a large stick and walking towards another trailer. Two detectives, identified by JSO Detectives McCranie and Lyons, approach him on foot. JSO says another detective, Detective Crews, was nearby in an armored vehicle.
Benevutti drops the stick and then draws a concealed weapon, moving towards the trailer.
Footage from McCranie's body-worn camera shows the SWAT officers as they attempted to get Benevutti to put down his weapon and surrender.
One officer can be heard saying, "Don't let him get into that other house," on the radio. McCranie approaches Benevutti, telling him to put his hands up and put his hands up.
Benevutti says, "go back, go back, go back, get the (expletive) back."
Lyons can be heard telling the other officers that there is a gun in Benevutti's hand.
Benevutti moves towards the door and continues to tell officers to back up and says he is "calling (his) mom."
Officers tell Benevutti to drop the gun repeatedly, while he says, "Where's my mom? Where's my mom?"
As officers argue with Benevutti to drop the gun, he repeats, "I will talk to my mom, I will talk to my mom," and "I will talk to my brother and my mom."

On May 26 at about 15:00 at a construction site in the Svobodnensky district of Amur region, the driver of a KamAZ truck - a man born in 1986 - hit an employee of a private security company servicing the site, a woman born in 1977. The victim died of her injuries in a medical facility.
At present, the investigators of the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Svobodnensky" are conducting an investigation into this fact. The circumstances and causes of the incident are being established. Upon completion of the investigation a decision will be made in accordance with the current legislation.

Don't plan to, and also thanks! I personally hate when people post a cool-ass video and leave me zero context. Especially because I enjoy finding the original vids (the ones most people post are usually cropped/watermarked/JPEGified).
Sidenote: do you guys actually care about me providing archive.ph links for all of the news sources? Most are saved on archive.org already and given that they're not run by le evil wrongthinkers or about a certain journo, I don't imagine they'll ever get taken down.

Man survives two separate assassination attempts by hitwoman and kills her - Las Choapas, Mexico (2024.10.29)
Transport businessman Juan Antonio Bautista López evaded two attempted attacks with a firearm by a female hitman on the same day. Although he had only just released the video, the attacks took place on October 25, 2024, in the municipality of Las Choapas, Veracruz.
The businessman released the footage after receiving kidnapping accusations and requesting the Prosecutor's Office to disclaim his identity. Instead, he revealed that they attempted to execute him for not paying extortion and for harming the interests of powerful individuals.
He shared two videos on the social media platform X, in which a woman can be seen walking past his parked truck. The female hitman pulls a firearm from her bag and shoots her.
He narrates that he saw out of the corner of his eye that the woman pulled out a gun and pushed back the seat of her truck, but one of the bullets hit her in the neck, and after a few shots, the woman ran away.
Minutes later, he drove his truck to the Las Choapas hospital to treat his wounds, but unexpectedly encountered the hitwoman again, who was already wearing different clothes and was in the truck in which she had escaped.
She crashed into his truck, and when they both realized who it was, the woman pulled out her gun again and began shooting at him. He then pulled out his own firearm and shot the hitwoman, hitting her in the neck, which protruded from her back.
He commented that after that incident, he stayed there, waiting for the police and the State Attorney General's Office to arrest him, but as part of the investigation, he was able to prove self-defense.
Now, he has asked the State Attorney General's Office to continue investigating the case, because the woman was identified as a hitman originally from Tabasco. However, the mastermind of the crime has not been found, and he fears a repeat attack against him.
