Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

Consultants pull in large fees. 6 or 7 digits to have someone like SBI "consult". Then there's the "deprofessionalisation" article posted earlier where you have people pulling massive salaries to be some extremely niche role that adds nothing of real value to the finished game.
There's a big revolt brewing in the corporate sector against "bullshit jobs". Can you imagine how demoralising it is to be working your heat out to generate revenue only to have some retard with a rainbow lanyard look down on you who does nothing but have meeting to arrange meetings?

It's not just the free money train derailing but it's starting to bite the Big Four. Can you imagine not being able to tender for a big audit contract that would generate millions for decades because a diversity hire went there as a consultant for a couple of grand to tell them not to say "nigger" in their marketing material?

These days I’m not so sure.

For whatever reason Steam-curator Sweet Baby Inc detected has given recommendation for Doom: The Dark Ages.
"100% DEIfree" they call it.
Debatable. It has Debra Wilson voicing a prominent character, (On the other hand, her character is among the genuinely nicer to the Slayer compared to so many others that basically treat him like a rabid attack dog.)

Merely having her in is not bad. What about the story?
I was actually unaware Debra Wilson was voicing said prominent character, probably because I'm so used to seeing her face attached to her voice. She is modestly attractive for a warrior soldier, and does play a damsel in distress for a portion of the game. She doesn't play up any "girl power" angle and is dependent on The Slayer to rip and tear, until it is done.

She is a good actress and she can voice women much younger than her. Sad that they make her play the face model and the "strong independent woman".

She's been in a prolific VA (20+ years of experience now) and got into videogames for her grand children(supposedly).

I don't think her face being shoved so blatantly onto the characters she voices couldn't have been her choice. I think Wolfenstein The New Colossus in particular, due to the game's overt marketing and how prominent she was compared to other members of the (also mostly face-scanned) cast, is what soldered this connection.

Her voice isn't a red flag (because she's fucking everywhere, check out her IMDB page), but her face is.

This is the character she voices in Doom: The Dark Ages.

If you're iffy about Doom, here's a character voiced in the Yakuza pirate game.

Kind of funny, but in the most politically-charged games released so far this year:
Avowed, she plays a character who doesn't have a face

In Civilisation 7, she voices someone who already had one

She said there were no whites on the dev team, not in the game. Either way the art style is absolutely hideous, clearly an alumni of the Tumblr school of awkwardly shaped potato people.
Reading failure on my side. I blame Corporate Memphis.

Debra Wilson is a hideous disgusting creature with no talent at all, every game with her in it is automatically woke. And she voices a non-nigger blue eyed warrior girl, who is the focus in every cutscene she's in. Doom is now injected with estrogen, next step Troon. Remarkable how kiwifarmes can't stop defending woke slop.

First things first, she is a grandma. Of course she is not the prettiest. Secondly, her career started long before the woke shit was even a thing. Third, Doom (2016) had a prominent woman too. Fourth, Eternal compared demons to troons and illegal migrants.

Why EA Canceled a New ‘Black Panther’ Video Game
(Archive)

4 years with nothing to show for it, lmao.
DIE niggas can't even shit out a broken game.
If they hired Dani Lalonders from Validate, that is entirely consistent. To speedrun through Validate's development woes, a bit part of the initial pitch was that each of the characters had their own artist and their own writers, which meant they looked ugly and inconsistent as shit. It clearly evenetually reached the point where obviously people were slacking, and parts had to be scrapped and rebuilt with only a dedicated artist and writer.

But more specifically, the first thing they did after finishing their kickstarter? Was take a three month break. Literally from the moment they had their funding, Validate was on a hiatus for a quarter of their year. And not even planned to be that long - taking a month break after the kickstarter is galling enough, but they just kept pushing the deadline out and out!

They eventually had to chunk it down and deliver only a fraction of the full game to have something people can actually purchase. It peaked at 80 players on steam and vanished off the face of the planet after that.

I had someone in a Youtube comments section trying to tell me that the Cliffhanger Studio's dev that was responsible for Validate was a "junior employee", as if that somehow justifies the abject racism in their hiring practices, not to mention the four years of wasted time on a project that actually should've already had an alpha build of the game up and running by now.

No idea if its DEI free, but its a shit game.
DEI is a symptom of a larger problem with AAA Gaming.
E:
Actually didn't they can their musician over MeToo Allegations?
I think that's reason enough to call it DEI adjacent.
