I also remember some Wild Rift skins pairing up Ezreal and Lux and when the "Lightcannon" Jinx/Lux shippers started to bitch a ton of bigger artists and writers in the community shut them up in turn revealing they liked the pairing and asked what exactly the issue was with this pairing, leading to the LGBTBBQ starting to mumble, realizing they got caught out for heterophobia.

I think some higher-ups at Riot are quietly realizing what an albatross the LGBT fandom became when every new character is being demanded to be gay or lesbo - witness horny fujos crying for Sett and Aphelios to be canonically paired up entirely on the hunk/twink dynamic and simply because they debuted one after another even when they have zero reason to interact in-universe. I'll wrap up my LoL reminiscing with remembering how early on the Cait/Vi ship happened due to their joint police careers and voice lines in-game, but to be honest.... way back then in the early 2010s it felt like a positive example of "they happen to be gay" (like that gay couple in Mission Hill) than the aggravating "GAY GAY lesbian GAY" sucking up their entire sense of selves it is now. Their personalities bounced off one another that made for a lot of funny fan material I saw back then, versus the modern UwU crap I see on it.

Very telling that the ship's fan-material was way higher-quality and actually fun to see, including people of all stripes being good with/making stuff about it, versus the current results of bland-at-best, disgusting-at-worst stuff today where it's only made by homos with too much time and goonerism on their hands - and it coincides with how LGBT acceptance has dropped from then to now.

I know it's not quite 1:1 with your annoyance on Vi being forced into lesbianism simply due to not being 100% feminine and definitely have sympathy for that viewpoint as well... but it still struck a chord seeing such a strong, fun personality that happened to like Caitlyn in a lot of fan material be reduced to that "GAY GAY lesbian GAY" that seems to be ALL she is now. Pride events are a fantastic source of tranny rage.
