Vaping did do that but it feels like ass to vape all the time. I vaped for a couple years off and on. I swapped to pouches and still got to be overweight on a couple occasions. I think it works at the beginning but your body gets used to it. Recently I've done the pouches and it still kind of helps but I think you could achieve a similar appetite suppressant effect with coffee if you prefer that because it's less addictive.

Bf does pouches as well and he claims no appetite suppressant effect. I think I have some. Cigarettes are your best bet there but I wouldn't recommend personally. Try a shit ton of coffee first.

Also I heard the fast food cravings are a sign of an unhealthy gut. Try healing your gut with probiotics and healthier foods. I'm working on that now personally and don't have much desire for junk.
I’ve stopped eating fast food and it’s been 7 months since I last had anything from McDonald’s. I did not realize how bad that shit was until I got off it. It went through some withdrawal's but I subsided after two months. Now I have a salad with tuna fish two nights a week but most of the time it’s just lettuce. Tomatoes, some skinny girl salad dressing, and maybe some grilled chicken or crab meat in my salad. I do not miss McDonald’s any more, I’ve lost over 60lbs and my cholesterol has gone down significantly. Even my A1C had improved. Point is folks it’s not too late, see those warning signs now before you stroke out or have to have your chest ripped opened and then they’re playing with your tinker. Seriously guys take care of yourselves out there.

I’m just afraid I’m gonna be an idiot and get addicted to both or something stupid along those lines. I just threw away the vape I bought, I'm hoping coffee or something like that works.

Coffee does work but you gotta be careful. The other day I went for a bike ride and all of a sudden I felt like crashing out. I almost fainted so I had to go under some shade to rest for a bit. I think I had too much caffeine so I’m cutting down on coffee.

That's actually another thing I've heard is when your gut is healthy caffeine (like in a coffee) won't give you the jitters or feel like this. Coffee usually only does this to me if I've had several cups in a short time frame though. Also always have it with food or calories of some kind like milk and/or sugar/gelatin/collagen in it.

Vape is super addictive for sure. Nicotine can be really hard to quit for some but it depends on you/what you got going on. I got addicted to nic from the first vape I had consistently, it's very easy. Also I'm not sure what caused this but I noticed some hairloss and I've heard smoking anything (even weed) is a vasoconstrictor so it can contribute. Vape also gives you the hand to mouth habit and I feel like it made me less productive because I always wanted vape breaks. Pouches don't give me the withdrawal symptoms vapes did.

I do the OMAD (One Meal A Day) since it's a good way to feel full before you go to bed without actually eating that much in a day. Counting calories with OMAD is very effective (I do a 1,000 calorie defecit for my current weight and I weigh myself weekly). I just eat all my calories an hour or 2 before bed all at once. Once you get used to it, it feels natural. I've lost a lot of weight this way, so I know that this works for me. However, I really hate when I'm in a job, and I'm required to go to a special lunch or dinner. It acts as a wrench into this and requires that either I don't count calories that day or I go to bed hungry and then need to go the whole next day hungry until night. I can tolerate the latter, but man does it make life unnecessarily hard.

I've been on a weight loss journey since 2011. I went from my highest, which was 342 down to 206, when I was weighed yesterday. I went down naturally to 267 the summer before last with just diet and exercise. In October, I started Zepbound and lost the rest with horrible side effects, nausea, sulfur burps, diarrhea, horrible gas, fatigue.
But I'm 206 now.
A lot myths that people push on fat people, "OH, you're going to look so much better, people will treat you better, and you'll get asked out on dates". None of that shit is true. The truth is, unless you're young, and beautiful with massive tits, society (and especially men) don't care what you do. I'm glad I lost weight. I was in the 170s at a young age around 24.

I know a few people who transitioned from smoking to vapes
Then slowly reduced the nic level (over months), until they reach zero nic.
Then they are only breaking the habit, and not facing nic withdrawal.

If you guys use MyFitnessPal, do you guys eat the calories you gain back via exercise? Was at a 2180 calorie daily limit and I'm not sure if it was laziness/not enough time/etc but I've been hovering around 195 (194 today so cool I guess) but I've been eating my exercise calories as a reward as long as I don't go over.

Also are the calorie calculations for what you burn during exercise real?

I mean if you want to maintain you should eat those calories but if you want the exercise to count as burning away weight you should keep it as a deficit. Some days I would eat 50% of my burned calories if I was very hungry that day.

Also no, largely I hear they are not accurate. The only accurate way to measure what you're legit burning is some expensive medical devices from what I know. It's best to not count on those as part of your deficit much at all. Always assume the amount it said you burned is actually less.

You can go with the general rule that the amount you burned from exercise is "fuck all". Exercise contributes so little to weight loss as to be almost a non factor.
Realizing eating a single candybar would take an hour of walking to burn off was a bit of a "fucking what?" moment. Then realizing every soda, every bit of BBQ sauce, just about everything in the goyslop diet is about as calorie dense and nutrient free as that candybar... yeah.

I still got myself to my current problem state, but knowing this shit was purposefully engineered to get me there -- yes, it had to be, nothing this consistently and universally bad for us could be accidental -- certainly makes writing the manifesto easier.

Yeah it's tough out here lol. Try swapping some favorites for things you still enjoy but that will work in some nutrition. Chips dipped in cottage cheese, or my favorite rn is cherries with a chocolate cookies & cream cup. Figured I'd share this because I love finding the low cal treats others might enjoy. Here it is:

These are super tasty to me and really curb the chocolate craving. Just 1 cup will work for me personally (80 cals and 4 grams of sugar) which is half decent. They are very small but individually wrapped. The ingredients are solid and even though they have chocolate liqueur as an ingredient they don't taste it. Looks like they have other flavors too but I can't have peanut and this would definitely be my favorite.

It is, you're right. They want us fat, lazy and stupid. Fortunately there's a big movement against this right now and alot of tasty food out there we can make substitutions, with more coming out every day.

Also in my world I'm at the borderline of over/normal BMI and my weightloss has really slowed down. I think I'm going to stop drinking even on occasion for a month or two, gradually increase anti inflammatory foods and perhaps try the red light workout method. This involves fasting for a few hours, red light, then 30 mins of exercise (aerobic I think). I've heard it can work wonders on weight loss. Although most wouldn't call me overweight, I feel like I'm ready to be thin. I'm tired of even a little excess belly fat.

Lastly although the scale hasn't changed much I'm not sure if I've lost fat in my belly, face and neck. I wish I took measurements beforehand. Also my acne is going away which is 100% on the rlt. Very exciting for me as I've had pcos acne basically always since I was 14. A W is a W

My main problem is just over eating, Going to get fast food or ordering more then I need.
You could benefit from taking a look at the satiety index and filling up on things like oatmeal and boiled potatoes, exercise is also a natural appetite suppressant and doesn't go well with vaping/smoking.

I've finally taken the plunge and bought an insulated water flask and I’ve just come to gush about it. It’s really nice to have ice cold water constantly to hand and not having it sweat all over my table, with ice cubes added it keeps water chilled for up to 48 hours and waking up to icy cold water means that I’m way more likely to drink it.

Stanley Quencher H2.0 Flowstate™ Tumbler 40oz. It wasn't cheap but it comes with a lifetime guarantee, is dishwasher safe and I love it, I got mine in fuchsia. Over the last few days I’ve probably drank 3 per day which is a lot more than I was having prior and I think it’s going to significantly help me in my weight loss!

As planned I weighed in on May 1st and I had only lost 5lb, instead of the 8lbs I was expecting from 2 the months prior, however I have been trying to build up my larger muscle groups so I’m hoping that I’ve also gained muscle. I took a couple of days off my diet at the end of May for a family birthday and I’m starting back up today, will weigh myself again July 1st.

Worst advice I have seen here. Hilariously bad.
If satiety is what you seek, have fatty meat or even things like a home made cream sauce with your meat, or whipped cream as a dessert.
Once again: if you are trying to lose weight, do not stuff yourself with carbohydrates.

Hey now it was just a suggestion and I’m recommending what is working for me. In combination with plenty of vegetables and protein, I eat a portion of complex carbs or potatoes with every meal. I eat twice a day and I’m not hungry between so I am finding it very easy to not overeat.

My mom is an O blood type and she feels her best when eats very low carb. I like to workout quite a bit and when I tried keto years ago it really sapped my energy, my performance suffered, it felt restrictive and I hated it.

There is also a satiety index for the different kinds of meats.

That could possibly depend on why they're overeating. If they're, for example, just an anxious person and eating because of it then it's probably less of an issue of physiological satiation and more an issue of the fact they just need something to put in their mouth, and in that case simply filling what they're eating out with the lowest calorie thing that still tastes ok is probably the best idea. Vegetables ideally.

Unfortunately the poster in question is apparently eating fast food regularly, so their first step is probably to not do that. Shit's straight up designed to get you to eat as much as possible.

Potatoes: I'm not sure if there's some type of potato lobby spreading potato propaganda, but I've heard a few people make some pretty bold claims about how potatoes are actually fairly good health wise and for weight loss; I don't buy it, they're basically just starches.

Down from 97kg to 92kg, probably 2.5kg of pure fat loss and the rest being water and glycogen. Deficit is about 1000kcal/day on average

so far my body doesn't rebel, energy level is normal, lifts stayed the same, no strong feeling of hunger.

Wanna go down at least to 80
Down to 90 now, but since I interspersed 4 days of eating at maintenance the actual fat loss should be around 7kg by now.

Lifts are still the same but that will change, maybe not due to muscle loss but simply due to lower energy levels during dieting.

Aggree, however during a deficit you only need to consume about 10 grams of fat a day so you might not wanna eat fatty meat either.

If you just wanna kill your hunger I recommend celery root or red beets, they are very healthy in general too

I talked with my Fiancée and she’s going to support me with my diet. And she also agreed to exercise with me.
I managed to throw away the vape.

I’m not really an anxious person. I just get a small craving and then I end up going overboard and ordering more food than I actually need.

I’m not a picky eater so if I could just manage to actually pack food for myself, I imagine I wouldn’t be going to fast food.
