Resident Evil - Virgin Vampire Wine Mom vs Chad Magnetic Lebowski

Also, you can't freely move up and down the stairs. Might seem like a little thing, but to me just felt like a huge, weird step back in design.
It was because the RE3 and CV teams didn't communicate as per Jap office culture and the game would've been far better if they'd copied the improvements the RE3 team introduced. One thing that really bugs me about CV is when you turn, the character just slides instead of doing a walking animation. It looks off putting.

Hopefully Summer Game Fest fucking announces something RE related Friday... I'd prefer RE9 over another demake.
Careful what you wish for. There are semi reputable leaks suggesting RE9 is an open world slop game and we all know what high quality products those turn out to be.

I'll keep my tism' powder dry until we get actual content but I just want some sort of update of something to look forward to. Was thinking the other day about just how much fun these fucking games are, it's such a great gameplay loop. Get your shit together, Crapcom.

RE9 is an open world slop
I want to see if Capcom can manage to do the concept justice.

Evil Within 2 tried the whole open world approach and while it was generally a very flawed game, I think there's potential in it.

Naturally, it all comes down to whether Capcom still has the talent to make something worthwhile, since their past few forays into RE have been two steps forward, three steps back.

6? 3make?

Unlike you I actually play games and learn their mechanics and 6 is really good. As for 3make its pretty good on its highest difficulty. The bosses are its strongest point, the 2nd nemesis fight is filler as a soft tutorial for the final fight but otherwise very tight and well designed.

As someone who quite enjoys me some RE6, hats off to you, good sir.

I don't know what's crazier: ~500hrs in RE6 or not having all the achievements in it yet.
