There's always like a billion of these mobile titles in development, surely one of them will be a sports game.

EDIT:
Seems like Blitz is more similar to Marvel Snap than I initially thought. It's made by SEGA and Rovio (the Angry Birds dev) and is launching today in the Philippines as part of a limited technical test.

I don't get why Japanese execs still insist on making slop mobile games. They never make that much money compared to actual mobile games and all they do is dilute the IP. We're past the age of just releasing a mobile game and getting free money.

Speaking of which, I wish the hub menu from the PS2/Wii versions was standards for all versions of Sonic Unleashed. It's unnecessary to have a hub world to interact with NPCs to go from level to level. Or at the least, make them smaller if lore is so important.

I traded in my copy of Unleashed because it ran like shit on my Xbox One. I heard when playing on Series X, the framerate is unlocked.

To be fair, Unleashed ran on shit on everything before the Series X showed. There is a little trick on the PS3 version where if you connect it to a CRT the game will be forced to run in a 4:3 480p mode, and since only the PS3 version has an uncapped framerate you can see 40-50 fps in some stages and even 60fps in Cool Edge. Also for what it's worth the hub worlds in Unleashed are better than the ones in 06, if you didn't like how big the hub worlds are in HD Unleashed you'd probably kill yourself walking through the Soleanna Forest as Silver

You guys need to check out the Retro thread on that new Sonic Blitz mess. The datamined character list implies they are going fucking CRAZY with the roster on this thing. We're talking one-off characters from fucking ADVENTURES OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. We're talking MANIC AND SONIA. This shit is going to be schizokino.

Here's a gay image one of them put together to show all of them off. The models/cards/renders at the top are real leaks, so we already have the likes of Bean and the fucking Battle Kukku from Tails Adventure. This also means putting up with the crying lesbians from IDW but if that means I get MOTHERFUCKING PSEUDOSONIC I'm willing.

My copy is a late reprint, sealed in the box. It's a Platinum Hits copy with the Xbox 360 Family Games branding on the cover, a 2009 print of the disc, but with a black and white printed manual with English and French text. The manual even has the 2010 Xbox 360 heading style on top.

It even has the new game factory smell in it. I almost regret opening it.

I'd imagine Dash is kept around as a sort of public test for characters introduced to Forces, and it still has whales.
