I was a bit disappointed by the most recent B&B revival. Sure its had its moments and some clever ideas and has held up better than other shows but its nowhere near as transgressive as the original was in its day and somehow simultaneously does the same thing but does it slightly shittier.

As for the KOH revival I hope that they can find a way to expand on the show and not play things too safe. I was halfway hoping that Hank could have gotten his narrow urethra fixed and there would be a younger brother or sister that would expand on the unseen dynamics that developed after the original that could be explored.

What @Jace on ice said. Trejo voiced Enrique, but to be fair to you Trejo did voice Octavio in his first appearance but Judge did the voice for the rest of the show. Its almost like a private little joke, have Trejo voice a character opposite of the kind he usually plays while Judge voices a character that looks just like him.

Somebody here earlier imagined that Hank would be reluctant to vote for Trump because Trump primarily does business in NYC. Maybe he would see a little bit of Buck Strickland in Trump that would influence his decision. Remember that episode where Hank had an issue with the sex on his driver's license? He vehemently has faith in the American system, but his pushback wouldn't be enough until push WOULD come to shove, i.e. Dale Gribble stepping in to give the counter person what for.

I'd say Hank would vote for Trump, but would still have reservations on it.

Based off the shows track record you could have Hank either vote for or not vote for Trump but it would be for a comedic trivial reason. When they did the Bush episode Hanks crisis of faith was because of a silly reason, a weak handshake, rather than any jokes or swipes at Bush's politics or past. The humor was entirely character driven rather than a criticism or commentary on real world issues. Hank already doesn't like New York so you could make a joke about how he doesn't like Trump because he's from New York and is embarrassed to have voted for him or have the guys chatting in the alley and Trump comes up and Hank says if he ever shows up in Arlen he'll kick his ass. "What kind of President likes his steaks well done and with ketchup? Its asinine". Boom you get to make fun of Trump without dragging politics or TDS into it, just make fun of an odd quirk the current President has that even his die-hard superfans would be able to chuckle at.

KoTH's characters have to be appreciated for how their character archetypes are not always played straight. Dale is a conspiracy theorist, but he appears to be oblivious of his wife's affair. Boomhauer's English is hardly understandable, but he can eloquently speak French and sing with perfect pitch. Hank is your everyday protagonist bound to paternal trauma from his father that has him socially inept/unaware in some humorous situations.
