Yeah, I'm not buying the hate crime either. Troons and pooners have a bad habit of exaggerating or out right lying about stories of "hate crimes". Whenever they say "I became emotional and things got heated" or "I was upset and there was yelling", what they really mean is "I was making threats and getting physically violent".
We already have a video of Jonathan getting upset and showing up at a con he wasn't invited to and causing a scene. I'm guessing he got into an argument with a neighbor and started to actually get violent. Even if he didn't throw a punch, if he was invading another person's space and yelling and just coming off as threatening, it's no wonder he got shot.
I also do not buy that people in his old neighborhood didn't accept them because they're a "gay couple". She is very obviously a woman, so anyone who sees them would think they were just a regular hetero couple. The only way I could believe this story is if they live in a really ghetto area with illegals.
