The difference is that this appears to be a complaint filed by a Kuwaiti citizen who claims to have used a lawyer, not a random listed Kuwaiti email getting a message from FupaStoner69@gmail.com that contains a youtube link.

Any way this goes, it has the potential to be pretty entertaining. The level of smug if this turns out to be nothing, followed by the response to it, would even be entertaining.

Chantal is facing legal issues in so far as this time the people doing the reporting are not some pearl clutching white women in North America firing off hairbrained emails to any government address they can find. The reports are coming from a reputable (as far as I can tell) organization within Kuwait, by Kuwait citizens. It is at the point now where reports have been made to the police/authorities. However no one who actually knows Kuwait law has stepped in anywhere to truly discuss what laws she has broken, and what penalties they may have. It has just been discussed in generics/hysterics. The hype is around some true and honest third party making reports, and not just some gorlworld drama infighting.

We could be at the US equivalent point of just a lady down at the local magistrate making a filing about a crazy Florida Man buying beer with an Alligator, or the kitten she stole is about to be the Kuwait version of George "Fent" Floyd. I guess the hope (some hope for content, some hope for punishment) in the community is spurred on by even if the cat thing was minor, she's going to be looked into, and the summation off all her misdeeds (bad driving, cat stealing, raising funds, working illegally, living illegally with a man, illegal immigration) will result in her family (husband and cat) being ripped apart, and we'll have her high on gummies back in the Canada in misery. No word yet on if Kuwait wears body cameras.

I don't think much will come from the cat thing, but it was a catalyst that put Chins on the Kuwaiti authorities' radar. They'd likely take her filming government buildings, oil fields, etc. more seriously. There's also her questionable marital status and illegal driving (sorry, there's no way she got a valid license, or she'd be waving it around, just like she'd be waving a marriage certificate around if she had one). Individually, they're little things, but they add up. Anyway, the worst that will happen is that they won't renew her visa. She doesn't exactly contribute anything to the Kuwaiti economy, except that she keeps the fast food joints profitable.

Salah has already demonstrated that he's fed up with her, and she's already losing more income than she can afford this month by going into hiding. At this point, it would be crazy for her NOT to go back to Canada.

At one point the law was supposed to change in 2025, but the decision was reversed, the changes made are to better regulate the dispensaries and licensing.

I certainly don't know anything about creamy Kuwait immigration rules, but remote work is not allowed in the US under a B2; consequences include fines, deportation, 5 or 10 year bans. The US takes it seriously; people get caught and face consequences. I assume most of the haters are American or American Jr, that's where they are probably getting the idea.
