What's probably going to happen is Jr Assistant new guy detective gets assigned to this case, they go through the evidence ticking off all of the laws she's broken.
She's skating immigration law by playing the tourist visa game (that alone will get her deported), so since she's become a pain in the ass, they'll probably fine and deport her ass and she will NOT get another visa.
Thus will end the incredibly boring Kuwait Arc.

So when was the last proof of life of Chantal?

Most of the reactors have taken their victory laps, you'd think that would be enough to bring the beast out of hiding.

I think some outside force must be stopping her from going live.
I'm starting to believe this is the case. No way she would willingly stay silent. You know she's still keeping up to date with what everyone is saying. It must be driving her mad that she can't fire up a stream and rage.

She's still approving comments, she's still alive, she's still got access to her phone/wifi. She's in Kuwait, Canada or Thailand.

She's trying to wait it out, she's probably somewhat enjoying a lot of this attention and speculation, she always has.

Can someone explain to me idea that weed is illegal in Thailand came from?

Simple google search seems to indicate it’s still legal or least the government’s opinion hasn’t changed.

From the wiki on the subject :

“As of 2025, Thailand has over 11,200 approved cannabis dispensaries, reflecting a significant expansion of access to medical cannabis in the country.”

Where are getting these ideas? Why are repeating shit seems not to be true?

Recreational use is banned; it will be available only for medical use.

Come on. All of these were on the first page of a Google search. If I can find it, then so can you.

I certainly don't know anything about creamy Kuwait immigration rules, but remote work is not allowed in the US under a B2; consequences include fines, deportation, 5 or 10 year bans. The US takes it seriously; people get caught and face consequences. I assume most of the haters are American or American Jr, that's where they are probably getting the idea.
i did a quick google search and according to google you cannot work on a travel visa in Kuwait. You have to have a valid work visa, a valid employment offer, and a work permit issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

edit: punctuation is hard

Weed is technically illegal in many, many countries, does it mean people can't find it, and the police generally don't care, yeah. Weed is very easy to get in Thailand; most drugs are.

Now in the Middle East is a different story.

I've been bored so some more videos. One to try and summon her back to Canada and one for future generations to understand what got us here.
Thank you; the nostalgia video was brilliantly done and brought me back to a simpler time. Sure, the pandemic destroyed everything as we knew it (minds, lives, sanity, homes, businesses, common sense, social order), but this lardass truly pulled us Farmers through as a beacon of stability, really, in a topsy -turvy world. Only Fatso could be a unifying source of peace and calm during extreme global histrionics, and that could have been her legacy had she not started in with, y'know, crack and Islam.

Indeed, in the vast majority of countries it's illegal to work on a tourist visa. Generally it's a crime that's overlooked if you're bringing more into the economy than you're taking out, which is how digital nomadism is surviving. But in general, it's fairly enforced in countries with a high income tax that pays for public services, since those individuals are not paying into the services that they may be receiving.

Chantal is dumb and absolutely would double-down on something just because she thought she was right. She's one of those people who think they can out-talk a detective during a police interrogation and never ask for a lawyer because of it. So, I definitely could see her staying in Kuwait thinking this will blow over, especially if she's getting bad legal advice from her sped boyfriend.

I can't see her sitting through a police interrogation. She would claim "Muh mentals" and flee, just like she did after filing spiteful charges against Nader.

God they're embarrassingly retarded. First of all it's not illegal to work remotely on a tourist visa in any country. Also Kuwaiti courts don't give a fuck if she has debt in Canada nor if she is a 'liar'. Furthermore I doubt that Kuwaiti citizens need donations from poor obese middle-aged women for 'lawyer fees'. How much do they think it costs to file a paper with the ministry of whatever?
@StrawberryDouche shared a link and some screen shots from that link a few pages back showing that in Kuwait any type of work on a tourist visa is not allowed. It also included YouTube as well. The link also listed out potential punishments for violating these regulations while on a tourist visa.

Now in the Middle East is a different story.

Thailand has some of the stiffest penalties in the world for illicit drug use, including the death penalty for drug smuggling. A lot of foreigners from first-world countries are on Death Row or rotting away on 20-year sentences in Thai prisons.

I wouldn't take such a sanguine attitude if I were going to visit there.

Now I’m waiting to see if Chantal will try to claim something to get the medical marijuana.
Pretty sure she would have to be a Thai national to get a medical marijuana card.

I'm not saying drugs aren't common in Thailand or that you can't find weed easily enough. But the cops do indeed care most of the time, and the judges are not sympathetic to hippies and addicts. Our fat, fetid friend is far from being a criminal mastermind, and she sticks out like a fat sore thumb. If a hotel gets sick of her stinking up the corridor with weed smoke, nothing is stopping them from dropping a dime on the cops to help clear the air. I don't think she will return to Thailand though. Money is just too tight now, and if charges are filed against her in Kuwait, she may well be stopped at the airport. Assuming she hasn't made it back to Canada, she should have left when she had that brief window to do so; she's in an unenviable position now.
