Did this smug gotcha sound really cool in your mind, or does playing it back to yourself like that ruin the illusion?
It seems to have rattled you enough to respond, so I'll assume it did its job well enough.

Care to tell me what I said that was wrong? Or just continue gesturing vaguely like that means anything?

Depends. France was the big crazy guy during the days of Louis XIV and Napoleon, and damn near everyone ganged up on them.
To be clear: When i say act like the crazy guy i don't mean shove our cocks into every country on earth, just don't act like massive pussies. There's plenty of wriggle room between trannies in combat roles and invading shithole countries for no reason. But i do want iran, china, north korea, nigeria, etc. to be afraid of what we're capable of even if they don't expect us to do it.

They're acting like hyper-masculine bullshit will win the next war, when that shit was outdated back in Vietnam. It's the technology and know-how that wins wars nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised if the next war is won by some fat nerds piloting drones 500 miles away from the battlefield.
I used to think this but Ukraine has actually made me think the opposite. Granted there's very specific terrain there, and it's a war across a long front, but the amount of infantry combat we've seen is surprising, i figured it would be vehicles and over the horizon air the entire way. I'd say having infantry that are willing to fight is more important than we've thought anytime during the past 30 years and not just when trying to avoid civilian casualties. I think any "war" in which we have to do that isn't worth entering because it's just an impossible task.

r/Military reacts to Harvey Milk's name being taken off a warship:
Even knowing who he is, the name Harvey Milk sounds like it should belong to a male stripper or porn star and not on a battleship. 🤷‍♂️

Oh also, what happened in Flint?? Why they mad?
I'm not sure if this is related to the Flint Water Crisis and the fact that local government has dragged its feet with replacing the damaged pipes even though they were given the resources to do just that years ago and subsequently acted slowly with no sense of urgency even when they were claiming how urgent it was for the situation to be fixed ASAP.

"maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner"

The problem with this is that it undermines everything about the left's core view, which is that kindness, trust, and letting your guard down are the key to victory.
It also goes against their whole narrative that includes buzz words and phrases such as "stop the hate," "love is love," "diversity," "inclusion," "tolerance," etc. If they honestly think being meaner is going to help them sway independent and undecided voters in the midterms, they may be in for another rude surprise.

Has anyone else in this thread experienced item shortages of any kind?
Personally, no. However, the grocery store seems to run out of certain sale items quickly in recent weeks depending on the day of the week, the item, and its sale price.

I know perfectly well their supposed affiliation. I do not care what they say, I care what they do.

If you don't crack down on border issues at every opportunity and deport as many illegals as possible, if you do not make the illegals fear for their lives when you have the power to do so, I must assume complicity.
Even "Based" Mike Lee wants fucking unlimited immigration sorry I mean unlimited "h1b visas" just like Massie/Paul I mean shit Massie cosponsored at least 1 bill trying to up the caps on h1b specifically from India and China. All immigration is a problem legal or illegal. These people will talk about stopping illegals or overstays when its election time but they will be the first to push for as much "legal" immigration as possible.

A main military sub, yeah there's no chance any regular in that subpeddit has ever done any active service lmao half of those retards are probably boomers whose military experience amounts to a bunch of history channel documentaries they left on just out of being too stupid to realize there were other channels.

Damn i don't give any subreddit that much credit. I'm pretty sure they're all just college kids and trannies who want to paint the picture that everyone across every hobby and every profession agrees with them on their horseshit. Didn't it come out that like 6 mods control the entire website?

More likely they're troons who were medically discharged after getting their surgeries paid for by the taxpayer.

Do remind me what Trump is or has been doing about H-1B's? The guy who wouldn't shut up about how much he loved legal immigration during his entire campaign run, and has surrounded himself with pro H-1B people?

And rolling everything in that bill involving immigration into its own bill would make it extremely clear that anybody who voted against it was worthy of this vitriol rather than having it come off as assmad accusation-hurling.

There's a balance between the two. If you don't act cocky enough, you'll still be seen as a pussy. If you act like too much of a tough guy, then they'll feel like you're shoving your cock into their business. Especially if they relied upon the global supply chain that your tariffs just cocked up. Then they'll go from "we should respect America because they might do something crazy" to "fuck the Americans, they'll always be crazy, it's better to bet against them because they'll always be dicks."

There's plenty of wriggle room between trannies in combat roles and invading shithole countries for no reason. But i do want iran, china, north korea, nigeria, etc. to be afraid of what we're capable of even if they don't expect us to do it.
There's the real danger they might decide to cooperate with each other instead. China's got lots of nukes, for instance, and they can easily help Iran get more. Iran would go from the country screaming about how they'll one day nuke Israel, to actually having nukes and pointing them at Tel-Aviv. If the Pakistanis can get nukes, so can the Iranians, and if China helps them, they'll get there faster.

The infantry combat we've seen is the kind where the first man who spots the other wins. That's got nothing to do with the hyper-masculine bullshit Trump and his pet Hegseth are trying to fill the military with. You can be the manliest, most testosterone-filled supersoldier in the world, manlier than even Stallone and Schwarzenegger in their prime, yet if the other guy sees you first before you see him, you're bleeding on the ground with a new hole to breathe out of.

What exactly are your political views bowser? Is there anybody you like? What do you want the USA and west to look like?

True enough but that was more or less the case in world war 2 and everything since... you still can't be a coward which is what i think they're getting at with these ads. Propaganda isn't supposed to make sense it's supposed to cause a feeling.

Is there anybody you like?
I don't like anybody in politics. I don't like Massie because he's a faggot libertarian, same as Paul.

As for the other two questions, they're too complicated for me to answer without putting in more words than I want to at this moment. I appreciate the thoughtfulness though.

It actually started with the russia situation and israel situation (those events fucked the leftist narrative in more ways than can be listed), but then the results of the 2024 election were probably the most important thing that has occurred in 20 years, not because of the outcome itself but what it forced the more sane members of the left to notice: Something was rotten in the state of denmark. How the fuck did that many latinos vote for the guy who wants to deport them all? How the fuck did california move red? How the fuck did all these zoomers vote for the republican? What the fuck is white dudes for harris? How the fuck did he win the popular vote? What the hell did they do with all that campaign money?
For certain a big surprise for Democrats and hell I was shocked was that overturning Roe v. Wade was not a rallying cry for feminist masses to move the needle to the left. It was supposed to be a Pandora’s box and we saw those DNC Activists cry murder outside the SC. How many times did Kamala Harris bring up “Isabel Gardner, who outside a Boise Idaho Hospital bled to death in her car because the hospital couldn’t perform a necessary abortion?”Trump took the women’s freedom! Not even William Wallace lost his freedom!
I’ve echoed this sentiment earlier about how the DNC is years behind the Trump-Republicans in terms of online reach. In this case though Democrats still think politics are the same as when they were in college. In my college we were bombarded with Abortion rhetoric, Christian groups would set up elaborate Anti-Abortion displays constantly with guys asking “When does this fetus become a Baby?!?” They’d cover a lawn with sticks each one representing a aborted life. They would make girls seethe it was hilarious.

Abortion and their HORRIBLE Project 2025 rhetoric were big fumbles. I think the Democrats only communicate with people who went to recently college and think like college people. They don’t get that a person like me doesn’t think abortion rights, especially when my State will ban abortion when hell freezes over.

Show of hands: Who here supports Elon over Trump, or Trump over Elon?

I'm guessing most will pick the bright orange lightbulb, but I'm just curious.
Trump over elon.

I don't worship either one, i think they both have high ceilings and low floors, they're both autistic in a way we need right now.

But something about elon just weirds me out. I don't think he's dumb and i think he has good insight but he's clearly got mental issues and main character syndrome and i will never forgive him for pushing the indian shit with that dude who said whites are incompotent because we fucked in high school. He can suck my ass for that.

There's also the fact that Elon Musk going hard-right just felt weird when he literally built up a company that relied upon EV/Green credits from liberal governments. That's how Tesla got so entrenched during Democrat times and in the liberal EU. Then all of a sudden, the guy who profits from Captain Planet-style propaganda goes hard-in for Trump? That makes no fucking sense. It would've made more sense if he went in full-Democrat and supported Kamala all the way because she'd support more "green energy" directives that would mean more money for his car company, at the expense of other automobile merchants in America.

At least Trump being a billionaire who married his kids off to Jewish land magnates makes more sense as a conservative, since as a billionaire, he'd obviously want tax cuts for the rich, a conservative position, and him having married his kids to Jews makes him a darling in Zionist conservative circles, since he's practically part of the Tribe at that point. So when he starts threatening to boot anti-Israeli people from America, it makes perfect sense. He's not only protecting his political allies, but also his family.

Add to this the fact that death counts are nothing compared to what they were even then. 4,500 americans died in iraq and only 2,500 died in afghanistan. These were across 20 years and both of those combined is less americans than died on d-day or from smoking in a week.
This is true, however, it doesn't factor in the PTSD and physical wounds suffered by hundreds of thousands of veterans as a result of the war.
Sure less people died, but many still saw death.

Add into the fact that the US Left is a permanent fixture for the foreseeable future, and bombing Shitholeistan, destroying the Shitholeistani military and overthrowing the Shitholeistani regime is going to come with the caveats of:
1) come with the new western requirement to spend a decade or more fixing the fucker you just bombed
2) import infinity Shitholeistani refugees
As a result of modern US political discourse.

You aren't wrong, but you're missing the big picture.
