My nigger, I can't believe I have to spell it out like this.
So, first you post a video of a guy using a certain book as proof that the earth used to be flat and Tartary is real.
Then I post some rebuttals to that video, using the same book, to explain that that guy was talking bullshit about flat Earths and misunderstand/misrepresenting the real life Tartary.
This isn't about book vs blog vs short video, or how ideas are interesting or not.
It's purely about how that one guy in that particular video is misrepresenting the book he's talking about, which can be easily seen by reading the actual book.

Nothing. Maybe you'll learn from it to not just blindly trust short videos of guys claiming things. Especially if it's something that's easy to check like this.
But I doubt it, you seem more interested in the dopamine hit of believing you stumbled upon some deep dark secret by clicking through all those TikToks, and moving on to the next one than actually expanding your knowledge.

Is this some exercise in trying to trigger me in some way? By grabbing holes where you can find them? I don't care. Even if it's proven to be false, it's made people think for themselves for at least for a moment. Which is more that what modern society allows. Just head to factcheck.com. Your reality will be safe again

Oh yeah, it's great. You post some shit and then one of two things happen: One set of people will be like "Wait, this sounds kinda stupid" and then they'll waste several minutes checking it out and leaving with the same level of knowledge as before (but slightly more irritated because they had to waste time on this shit), and the other set will just gobble it up, ending up stupider than before.
You did the world a great service indeed.

Where do you keep getting "checking with authority" from? This is a general thing. You post basically dozens of little videos every day across half a dozen threads. Anyone who sees them either has to just accept them at face value or put in their own time and work to verify them. Not with "authorities", just other sources in general. Ideally primary sources like the book this guy was talking about.
In some cases it's not even possible, like the one you posted before about underground cities. The guy is just "What if I told you", then prattles on for a minute with claims nobody can verify and where he is the sole authority on, and then ends it with "Also this is a joke for entertainment purpose". So here I'd have to do a full deep dive into the vast DUMB conspiracy theory subsection and even that wouldn't help because that guy could have meant something else since he provides zero sources, and then he might have also told the truth at the end, that it was all just a story for entertainment purposes. One can't know, so where does that leave the viewer? Maybe the time spent on researching DUMBs (if one gets there, since the original video doesn't actually mention DUMBs, so one actually has to start the research from nothing) leaves them believing in that theory. Maybe not. Maybe the time was truly wasted because it was a joke.
What you could do is write a TL;DW for each of the little videos you post, with some of your own thoughts on it. Just to train your own brain a bit.

As I said, it was never about my positions Taylor, it was what others might take away from exploring possibilities outside the "Primary/Authoritative sources" I understand you being Capricorn you might like a more orderly/logical system, but I don't believe most people operate that way, if they are intrigued, they will investigate themselves, I can offer a door, I can't make them walk through it.

Guess what, I was intrigued, and I did investigate myself. I noticed that the guy was completely lying out of his ass, and I decided to make it easier for everyone else to notice, because it was a massive waste of time for me.

You pointed out one post where the guy was being disingenuous, so now it's all or nothing? Seems very binary. Like you are shutting down exploration. Do you not like nuance? Trying to pick the truth out from the lies? Because in my belief, that is how they operate. Would you rather a printed out summary? For us peasants Taylor...... I don't think that is available. We are left to figure it out for ourselves.
