Some of them are straight presumptive and you don't need to to much to get them. I developed allergies in my life. Because I was in the army and spent years in the ME this is an automatic presumptive cause (lol). So they gave me 30% just for allergies. Because I have documented combat (lol) I got tinnitus at 10%. Like zero effort to do this and the Army walks you through how to do it a little on the way out the door.

The one at the bottom is because Sleep Apnea is heavily heavily abused and if you have the CPAP machine it's like guaranteed 50%. They are changing the regs just to stop how rampant that abuse was.

FWIW VA "Disability" is a lot closer to worker's insurance in how it functions. You are only disbarred from working if you have the TDIU thing he's talking about where you are penalized if you try and work. Civilian disability you aren't allowed to work at all.
Dad got a 20 percent disablity for a really fucked up hand in the mid 70s, it's sort of shocking how they basically hand (no pun intended there) out the 20-50 percent now for next to nothing. Dad had to show actual physical damage to get his.

I don't get why people even go to the ER for mild shit anyways, always seemed like the obvious choice was urgent care
I've done it before because my insurance considers the local urgent care places 'out of network'. If I need urgent care I either need to drive 40 minutes to an 'in network' urgent care or go to the much closer hospital. I only found this out because I had an injury and went to urgent care for it once because it wasn't 'ER' worthy but still pretty serious and the insurance refused to pay it because I was apparently supposed to log into their shitty portal, get my two-factor authentication through, navigate to their map that doesn't work, and then scroll through the list of providers while holding my bleeding hand over my head and typing one-handed, unable to apply pressure to the wound, then drive 40 minutes.

And some still wonder why people shrugged when that dickhead was shot in New York.

ERs need urgent care facilities attached to them, where non emergencies can be triaged to.
Urgent Cares only work because of their short hours and lower operating costs. If you tie it to a hospital and make it 24/7 it is effectively am ER and you get ER prices.

I think there are regulations on what qualifies as an Urgent Care as well.

Are EVs seriously just this fragile/volatile? What causes totally secured and powered down EVs to spontaneously combust? These ones are from China so anything is possible I guess, but it seems like this keeps happening all over the place in ways I never heard of happening with explosive gasoline cars.
They are different kinds of fires compared to something caused by gas. Most fire departments consider them hazardous materials. How fragile the batteries are depends on the quality of their manufacture and they are not supposed to heat up and explode like that. In fact, there are businesses in the EV industry whose entire business is supercoolants for batteries.

I would not be surprised if it's mishandling, manufacturing error, or straight up sabotage. For all the shit I give EVs, the batteries are safe so long as they're made correctly and do not suffer intense physical trauma. To be fair even more, normal car batteries can also explode if you do dumb shit with them.

You know I always wondered about this shit. I know a bunch of people who get disability payments from being in the military and I always thought it was odd. None of them saw combat or were in combat roles, which I originally assumed was some sort of requirement. They all appear healthy and some do tons of fairly stressful physical activity. Guess now I know it is all a scam.
I know a guy with a half dozen Purple Hearts and he’s not 100% disabled because he’s honest. Meanwhile losers like those redditors get 100% disability despite being perfectly healthy.

I wonder what is really on that ship. Total laundering operation.

Wasn't the holobunga like 80 plus years ago.

This biddy looks a bit too young for even being 80.

Barbara Steinmetz, 88
much of her childhood was spent on an island off the coast of Croatia, which was then part of Italy and where her parents operated a hotel
“I lived an idyllic childhood on the banks of the Adriatic,” Steinmetz recalled in the article.
But after Italian dictator Benito Mussolini stripped the Italian Jews of their citizenship in 1938, Steinmetz's father took the family to Hungary and from there they fled to France two years later.
When the Germans entered France, Steinmetz and her family were forced to flee again, this time to Portugal, where thousands of other refugees were looking for a way to escape from Europe.
Steinmetz said her father applied for asylum to a dozen countries, including the United States. But only one would take them — the Dominican Republic.
They departed for the DR on a Portuguese cargo ship in 1941 and during a brief stop in New York City she got to see the city's famous skyline, she told the Independent.
Steinmetz said they were resettled in the coastal town of Sosúa, and while her parents toiled at menial jobs, she and her sister were sent to a Catholic boarding school where only the Mother Superior knew that they were Jews.
“For four years, the convent was our home,” Steinmetz recalled in the article. “Although formidable, the sisters were kind.”
Once the war was over, the Steinmetz family was able to move to the United States, where her parents went back into the hotel business in New Hampshire.
Steinmetz moved to Boulder in "the mid-2000s," according to the article.
Ok guys, so anyone who was alive during WWII is a "Holocaust survivor" now.

btw check out /r/veteransbenefits on reddit, shits insane. They're scamming the government for so much money
I've said this before in a Disney Adult thread but to PL slightly, I have a friend who's nephew is a rabid Disney Adult as a single 30+ year old man. No, he's not a diddler (probably) but he's really just Disney's ideal CONSOOMER, even kind of looks the part.

He's a former military guy. I hesitate to call him a vet because he never deployed. He made it through basic training, got a hernia, and has been mooching off the government ever since. He gets about $4,000 per month in disability because he's going to school and it pays for literally everything. However due to his hernia, he's going to continuously collect these checks from the VA for the rest of his life. He's not a veteran. He's never seen combat. He never deployed. He barely finished basic before this happened. He's spent no less than $10,000 worth of taxpayer dollars on Warhammer figurines. At least another $5,000 on MTG cards. And at least $3000 on bad Star Wars tattoos (no I'm not kidding). The rest went into renting his home and motorcycles. He contributes nothing to society (yet) and while he may have an actually beneficial job someday in the future, the past years since leaving the army he's been nothing but a useless eater mooching off this system.

However, you'll still be paying him for the rest of your lives. He has entire armies of Warhammer figurines completely funded by US tax payer dollars. Happy Early Veterans Day!

I remember seeing kikes write articles about being 3rd generation Lolcaust survivors like a decade ago at this point. So it's either that or the trauma net from Faketober 7 spans the entire Juice World so they remain on their pity pedestal. Then try to get everyone to go along with it.

Modern Israel cashed out a lot of the moral capital they built up in the Post-War though.

because she had to flee from the Nazis when she lived in france.

definition

The Museum honors as survivors any persons, Jewish or non-Jewish, who were displaced, persecuted, or discriminated against due to the racial, religious, ethnic, social, and political policies of the Nazis and their collaborators between 1933 and 1945. In addition to former inmates of concentration camps, ghettos, and prisons, this definition includes, among others, people who were refugees or were in hiding.

Normal people think that Holocaust survivors were in camps, not people who were born before the war ended.
normal people not knowing the definition of terms doesn't mean those terms are meaningless
