wtf is up with dudes facial proportions.Rayman was one of those foundational games for me. I quickly grew out of it, but to this day I can still remember Mr. Sax.
To be fair, the frog's capitol city is literally just Mogadishu now... and they have a storied history of nigger worship, I'm talking hundreds of years of it before the Semites got into their media to nigger their cultural icons for them.

The ammo type shit was unbelievably dumb and obviously change for change's sake. Wolfenstein: Youngblood pulled the same shit but somehow managed to do it even worse by having the icons displaying the different ammo types enemies were weak to be both indistinguishable from each other and also extremely unclear.6 had the worst enemy design
My favourite thing about Blood Dragon was Michael Behn talking about how much fun he had voicing the main character on that project, compared to the miserable experience he had with Aliens: Colonial Marines where it was obvious nobody gave a fuck and just wanted to get the game out the door.Okay but tbf Blood Dragon is easily the best game Ubisoft has put out in like 20 years that wasn't named Rayman
Sssshhhhhh! You're dangerously close to "noticing" things again, goyim!wtf is up with dudes facial proportions.
His entire face is 1/3rd lips and nose.
BZZT, wrong. Other way round. But if it's any consolation I couldn't keep them straight in my head while I was writing that post and I already knew the answers.Left, heavy ammo. Right, light ammo.
Blood Dragon (and Hotline Miami) got me into synthwave and for that I'm eternally grateful. My favourite thing about Blood Dragon was Michael Behn talking about how much fun he had voicing the main character on that project, compared to the miserable experience he had with Aliens: Colonial Marines where it was obvious nobody gave a fuck and just wanted to get the game out the door.
Well I got reminded about this earlier and decided to go look and well:There's a very real chance a 6 year old game (that wasn't even on Steam for the first 4) passes Shadows in a few weeks then the Brooklyn DLC launches. Lol. LMAO even.
Wow, forced online, MP-only game beats off-line singleplayer game in steam activity. How could this possibly be?So a while back I posted this about Shadows potentially getting beat out by Div 2:

Absolutely fucking mogged. It's also surprising to see how well Div 2 is doing on a weeknight, a week after the DLC launched.

This shows that COD pretty much has the monopoly on slop shooters, with no serious competition. Honestly, it's for the best, at this point it's a containment game more than anything.View attachment 7456756
Okay, so XDefiant actually shut down yesterday around 12:14 PM if that tweet is an indicator. Its website actually redirects to Ubisoft's homepage. I wonder what Mark Rubin will do now.
I'm surprised you didn't play it on its last day. If anything, I partly blame the CoD playerbase for how Xdefiant turned out.Shame about XDefiant, wanted to play that at some point. Hopefully there will be an effort to revive it when Ubisoft inevitably gets bought out/goes bankrupt and there is no more threat of a lawsuit.
From what I've seen it was entirely the Xdefiant team's fault. They slept on a really positive beta and delayed the game's full release for so long that by the time it finally dropped CoD had filled the void Xdefiant was aiming for and nobody gave a shit.If anything, I partly blame the CoD playerbase for how Xdefiant turned out.
It was mostly the dev team's fault, but it was also partially on Ubisoft. They dropped the game like a rock the moment it wasn't making them a ton of money, something they do with all the franchises that aren't immediate breakout hits(Rayman, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia up until recently ect.)From what I've seen it was entirely the Xdefiant team's fault. Were you really going to play a bunch of offline matches with bots? Or are you asking for fan servers, because that is a totally unreasonable request.XDef was fucking good. I hate that games just die because they can't be profitable. Future proof every fucking game, you ghouls.
Just allow people to host servers like with old CS and Unreal. Then every aspect of the game's balance and artistry doesn't need to be lost forever. They wouldn't get to insert a dumb FOMO marketing scheme so it's moot though. Point is you can find at least 10 people to play CoD4 vanilla still and if it was released nowadays the game wouldn't be coded that way. Were you really going to play a bunch of offline matches with bots? No.
