hell to the yes, I am not paying extra for a dark shade because i don't...care? I was once asked why I don't have more "ethnic" dolls (because I'm supposed to run around in a hula girl skirt or something)

I'm defending the ideal of free market as well as my opinion. I'm still neutral, but i'm more annoyed that you just call recasts cheap and frail when that's not true at all.

(When you can get a legit full clothes set on aliexpress for $14. A cardigan, shirt and jeans with belt, there should be no sock dresses. Tbh sock dresses don't make sense since you can buy a $400 doll but not a pair of $.50 tennis shoes and a pair of pants.)

Aliexpress is a good place if you want to find affordable clothes for dolls.

I agree that being blocked from the BJD community (and den of angels) for owning dolls that are similar to BJDs but aren't considered on-topic is shitty. But on the other hand I can see where they're coming from. If DoA had a separate section for off-topic dolls, I wouldn't have a problem with it. But they haven't ever since the forum itself sprung up.

Another great way to make people salty is to put an "expensive" head (volks, luts, etc) on a "cheap" body (bobobie, etc). I remember some years ago there was a hybrid thread on DoA that generated glorious amounts of salt from shit like that.
