The whole Onlyfans trauma into profit thing has been catastrophic for the mental health of women like this. I'm not going to delude myself and pretend that there was a time where a rape victim lashing out like this would be taken seriously and given the help she needed, but this is definitely a step back compared to a decade ago.

This isn't some new, unique ordering of society.

Her conception of herself is a paradox. On one hand she sees herself as some transgressive daring person who seeks truth in places most people won't dare look, but expects society to react with nothing but praise and is shocked when she receives ridicule instead? She's not some daring antihero; she's just some boring whore. But even if she were some female Diogenes of the modern age, obviously society is going to react negatively that. She calls herself a whore and engages in all this edgy behavior, prides herself on it, and then insists, "No this is normal! All women want to be tied down and molested by 2,000 men!"

At the core of Aella's psyche is a simple inability to understand basic concepts like contradiction and cause and effect.

There's been a lot of talk lately about the community being so invested in drugs that it's become an issue and the root cause is the Aella crowd.

Aella constantly tries to cancel people, often people who only disagree with only a few things she has done but are still progressive for the most part. She does the little girl "they're so mean!" when they're just disagreeing with her. The posts praising her almost always get more likes than the ones dunking on her.

She does this so the people who have honest reason to not like her in the community are silenced. Most people don't want to be perceived as bullies, so it works. We can tell every truth in the rationalist community except 'when you advertise that there's a lot of sex and drugs in your community it falls apart because of predators.' It's not even about morality. It's a purely logistical problem of people willing to do illegal things are often not good people regardless of whether you think those things should be illegal in the first place. Behavior that greatly deviates from the norm attracts bad people and that's been proven time and again in this community.

Now anyone who is upset that they're getting kicked out of rationalist meetups that they thought were just about automation or AI because they won't do illegal drugs is going to shut up because it's just so MEAN to complain about it.
