he's not employable in the sense that he can't get a decent job. his resume is worthless, assuming he even knows how to make one. if he manages to pass that hurdle, any normal human being probably wouldn't call him back after an interview. People talk about him being some kind of middle management but i honestly doubt he could get there. most companies prefer to hire middle management from within, and someone like him is not likely to last long enough to get there. but he's not unemployable. retail, call centers, custodial services, food services, etc don't give a single fuck and will take almost anyone, even phil.
They aren't doing background checks on the people for those entry level jobs. No one cares, he can speak english and he knows what a computer is. If he was really worried about it, he could go through a consulting company and skip the interviews even.

He's not completely "unemployable", but as far as being a middle manager for Boeing and/or Microsoft, that's like saying that stripper likes you and not because of the hundreds of dollars in your pocket.
I've said it before with the utmost confidence that any job Phil thinks he'd be good at like the old helicopter plant taking orders? Yeah 1. his age, yes agism isn't something they can discriminate on but it's hard to prove 2. his huge gaps in employment history, yeah he's his own boss being a online busker but that means he has little to no coworker experience. 3. potential overqualification, there's no cushy desk job answering emails and phones he could get hired for that you couldn't either get some kid fresh off the boat with a college visa to intern for or some supervisors girlfriend to do. But I think the killer for him is the fact he's in his mid 40s and that large gap in employment.
Phil has always been terrible with money. He spent recklessly traveling to fighting game tournaments.
He's so thin skinned. What I found funny was no one said anything about what Asmingold was saying. All they said was he was sending viewers to him. And Phil's first reaction was "W-why are you bullying me dood?" Weird answer for someone who doesn't know what Asmingold says about him.
Good thing that won't happen. I can't imagine many people who follow DSP's circling of the drain actually tune into the stream live since it's mostly just him being boring as fuck bitching and moaning. I'd think just about everyone that's tracking him either watches Youtube comps or clips that are posted to the Farms. I could be completely off-base though.
The problem is not that the is completely unemployable, there are jobs he could do, jobs that require vision tunnel and endless repetition, a lot of low end factory work would fit Phil, and often you don't even have to stand to do it.
I'll agree to a point, but I will counter by saying that Phil has provided video evidence of him being literally incapable of following directions, advice, or orders in any way. I absolutely agree that he chose the path of the Beggar years ago, but that's only further reinforced by his gross incompetence.
Phail attended Catholic school. No one fails, and for a big enough donayshun you can buy grades. No, they don't falsify grades, but the grading can become more lenient and extra credit can become bountiful (but not challenging).
You described a large percentage of the schools in the US (especially in more....urban areas). Failing a kid could possibly hurt their feelings so it's much better to get them graduated with a degree while being unable to read, write, or make eye contact. At least they can be professional streamas and beg for money all day
No one who speaks to this man will hire him as a manager. Even with his degree, and even with some trumped up resume filled with lies, he won't make it past talking to a human. That's the biggest reason why he's unemployable. Let's just ignore the fact that he'd never find a job that pays as well as his current e-begging gig so there's no real reason for him to seek out gainful employment. After he's been living for years in a self-imposed exile, he's become outright terrified of any kind of communication that isn't separated by a screen and a keyboard. Even in the easiest office or assembly line jobs you still need to talk to someone at least once a day, be it some foreman or whatever. There's been reports and news articles talking about how some zoomers are so mentally ill, sheltered and desocialized that they have mental breakdowns at even the slightest criticism, which causes them to quit even the simplest jobs. Piggy is pretty much the 43-year-old version of them.
