Yeah, it's nice isn't it. The entirety of the Summer of Love here was 6 nerds that stood on a sidewalk with signs for like two hours for three days, and I'd categorize my area as a large town.

In theory they could have a geofenced automatic disable of your average Apple/Android phone, but that'd require the phones to have a version with that capability already installed, which I don't think we've reached at this point in our Orwellian world. What they do have, and could almost definitely engage if they wanted to, is a "do not delete" and archive of all media uploaded to the cloud in that geofenced area with a warrant. I bet at least 95% of these fags are tech illiterate and running the most flimsy of systems with all the keys to the kingdom in Apple and Google's hands, putting a preemptive warrant to have them retain everything and then subpoena as needed would be a breeze if you could find a judge that'd say yes to the first part.

Prior to the spicy happenings in California, what anti-Trump protests I've seen so far in 2025 have largely consisted of the 50-50-1 type protests where Blue folks impotently wave around signs with ho-hum slogans and meme attempts in Blue strongholds where this type of behavior is not out of the ordinary.

I've seen rumblings of similar protests slated for Flag Day. In light of the California happenings this weekend, I can't help wondering if protests will get spicier across the country, or if people will prefer the slacktivist approach to hold their signs and do little more beyond that. Time will tell, and it's good to know anything juicy will get reported and documented here.

Summer of love 2020 started out much more explosive from all the pent-up lockdown frustration and then got exponentially worse after MPD straight up let one of their precincts get burned to the ground. The Feds and LAPD aren't fucking around (as much) here.
