edit: anyone find it kind of odd that of all the comparisons to make, it's always about nazis or something along those lines even if it's being compared to innocent simple shit
God, the way these people go on about Natzees you'd think it was still 1942, when really all they mean is "people I disagree with". It's also ironic because they hate everything about our country, our people, our way of life yet still invoke the name of a long dead enemy specifically because it invokes feelings of disgust in people who actually care for these things. Not out of any actual dislike for the nazis, not because they really care about the things they did(they only really care about themselves and how they feel in the moment), it's just... Bullshit, really.

I guarantee you anything if wasn't so unpopular to like Nazis Xkeeper and friends would own a trans themed SS uniform and jackboots and be doing the Hitler salute.

It's doubly ironic because they hate the same lobby that has popularised the evergreen Nazi hysteria - hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the lowlies of the faggot cult would love to recreate the Holocaust. Not in the slightest.

Why don't all of those niche communities just ban ANY political discussions unless specifically related to the topic (in the context of video game archivals, for example, politics surrounding copyright and consumer rights laws)?

I'm fairly certain there are many hobbies that are enjoyed by people from all political leanings and opinions.

Because how else are troons going to be obnoxious and smug about their supposed superior beliefs?

Most of them are co-opted by the faggot cultists.

I could vomit about the hedonism, the Peter Pan syndrome, the total cultural takeover, but instead, imma say I used to be a mod in one - and then I've started noticing the rot, but since I was only third or fourth in command, there was nothing I could do about it. I left after throwing a tantrum, and the rot continued.

You know what's funny? For years, I was, and still remain, the only person in the admin team who had first-hand experience with the niche the group focuses on.

EDIT: Forgot to throw in important context: they moved to Discord, I've started an offtopic channel just to keep all the non-relevant discussion out, and in a span of few years, that channel saw so many news reposts (from a guy who isn't even fucking interested in the OP) and troon arrival announcements it's... okay, it's not surprising at all anymore, it's just sad.

EDIT 2: I've just remembered LuigiBlood was also mildly active on the Discord in question. Don't remember anything he posted there, though.

It's because the "nazi bar" extended analogy has traction. By that I mean, it has been successful in garnering support for behavior up to preemptive violence. Almost as if they can drop it like a magic spell and get absolved of anything, because it was done to keep "nazis" out. (Nobody but autists seem to notice the ridiculously expansive definition of nazi.)

Oh yeah, funny thing, you know who's on the opposite of autists? Schizophreniacs.

Intersectionalism and "everyone I don't like is a Nazi" are basically, and I'm not throwing that word in lightly, systematic schizophenia. Someone, prove me wrong.

sharty thread is gone
Good thing there's a /raid/ thread up so now it's a slowburnerald

On the topic of Our™️ Own™️ TCRF, there should be a thread set up to actually discuss beta/prototype/source code sharing/datamining tools and shit just to really get everyone up to speed as well as discuss interesting development history in games. Topic alone has great potential given how religiously anal we all are about archiving anything.

Someone, prove me wrong.
I can't, but perhaps I can add a few more bits to your model.
Dunno. There's something here, but I wouldn't call it schizophrenia. I think the crucial element is that you can build whole-ass imagined realities out of words, and in text-based communication that's ultimately all you have. The code (literally: words are symbolic representations of lemmas) needs to be roughly agreed-upon by participants for successful communication. The thing is that you can modify the code adversarially, deliberately evoking one image, while actually your words point to different lemmas. The resulting ambiguity can be widened and exploited further. Motte and bailey arguments are a form of this. Anyway, in a virtual domain there are even fewer things to keep people anchored, so it both takes less investment and can lead to more gains.

This is just a really autistic way of saying people doublespeak for personal gain and it's easier to do on the internet. Schizophrenia has more to it than that, and Occam's razor can be invoked.

Yeah, i'd say so. Autistics are socially maladjusted, maybe even reclusive, but rarely are they ever straight up anti-social like these types of people are. That coupled with the magical thinking and delusions of trans death camps right around the corner are key symptoms of a schizophrenic.

Because this isn't being done in good faith in the slightest, so they'll find any way to force you into a political position(i.e. Silence is Violence)

Great idea, except this always happens:
"Ban on political topics? I agree! But just to be clear, my right to exist as a trans person does not count as a political topic, you transphobe!"

If I had a cent for every time I've read "It's not politics, it's called being a decent human being", I'd be a millionaire
"Lucky for you, I'm a humanitarian - and I'm off my diet!"

That and "Make stupid choices win stupid prizes" are some of my most disliked troon phrases.
...that's actually the first time I've heard of it - or rather, of it being said by a troon. I'm more acquainted with "DO BETTER".
