Chaos is a ladder, and the Left have no consciences. They will piss on you and tell you it's raining. Likewise, they will burn down your cities and say "it's all peaceful, you're abusing us peaceful protestors, we dindu nuffin!"
This speaks to a fundamental problem of Progressivism/Leftism in general. It's core tenants instill the belief that everyone's personal ideological whims are as important to and equal in society and relies on leveraging moral servitude to enforce them.

okay. i'll bite. why shouldn't we use tactics like this? why should people who would rape and kill my mother, or your mother, or their own fucking mothers sometimes. why should we treat a massed group of niggers or spics in a different way than they treat whites every day? than they treat cops? than they treat children? why shouldn't these people be shot and killed when they commit extremely violent crimes like rioting, arson, looting and assault?
It has to be a combination. Make it impossible for them to live here outside of the system. Make it a crime to give them a bank account, or to allow them to send money via western union as remittances, et cetera. No, Western Union does not have the 1st amendment right to allow non-citizens to use their services -- we lost the right to association when it turns out people generally don't want to associate with niggers or women if they aren't legally forced to.
Since these particular riots are in response to a raid on cartel money laundering and human trafficking operations, and are funded (at least initially) by a cuban national who has been found guilty in the past of money laundering... I'm guessing the goal is to slow them down long enough for them to destroy evidence and get anyone important out of the region before ICE and the Fedboys can arrest them.
It's as if the idea is to destroy or demoralize strong national identities to the point of irrelevance in a futile effort to bring about global "one race, the human race"
If you'll pardon my soying over 40k (which let's be honest, is just Star Wars for chuds and edgelords), these go hand-in-hand. Just like in real life, the forces of Chaos hate each other almost as much as they hate the forces of Order.
The serious answer is they want community lead organizations who's main focus is on crime prevention and de-escalation, and think it would work because they have never been on the receiving end of violent crime before. Which as we have seen, those approaches are ineffective AT BEST, and an out right embezzlement scheme AT WORST. If they get their wish, all that will happen is the streets will be ruled by gangs or militias, with the national guard cracking down on any paramilitary groups that support the wrong party.
By the way, the organizers are telling all of them to carry American flags instead now. Don't be surprised when it happens.

It's also notable that we're no longer under COVID lockdowns. It was a combination of the riots and the lockdowns (along with literal cheating, but the former two gave plausible cover for the latter) that pushed Biden over the finish line in 2020. People so desperately wanted all the insanity to just stop that they held their nose for the "moderate, old grandpa," and all it got them was more misery.
