“Hot” celebs who are not that attractive

Ana de Armas is a name that goes around often for these kinds of conversations. I find her utterly, utterly bland in a stupid whore bimbo kinda way. I can understand the appeal to normies with ditch-level standards, but it ain't for me.View attachment 7457280

I thought she was very pretty in Hispania. I always loved long, curly hair.

Uma Therman. At her peak she wasn't hideous or anything, but definitley not pretty. When she was pushing 40 and the sheriff in Kill Bill was remarking at how she looked like a "blood spattered angel" I have to wonder if she didn't ask for that as an ego stroke in the script.

He said she looked like a blood-spattered angel because she was in a white wedding gown, not because he was commenting on her beauty.

I'm not one to believe UFO conspiracies. But those two make me want to believe hybrids walk among us.
I remember back in the day (on Above Top Secret/David Icke/other batsh!t alien conspiracy forums), one of the alleged evidences that evil aliens were controlling our planet/governments, was that "hybrid alien looking" female celebrities would be promoted as sexy, in order to further the hybridization agenda. The female celebrities back then used as proof of this, was the Olsen Twins (who, as severely anorexic teens, did have the whole "bug eyed waif look" thing going on...)

Sidney sweeney looks real for want of a better word. Men look at her and see a blonde with a great rack who doesn’t look like she’s unattainable, or that kind of Kardashian’s plastic high maintenance thing.
That’s the appeal.

Certain celebrities get raved about as being ridiculously attractive
ScarJo has had a lot of very good (read: subtle) plastic work, especially around her nose tip.

Gal Gadot (real name: Greenstein) was literally picked by the Israeli government to act as a PR flack and get into movies through the gefilte fish network. She’s definitely not attractive unless you’re into mannish androids who can’t act for shit, plus her politics are vile.

Idris Elba gets the nog pass with bonus points for the English accent, but he also can’t act for shit and is very very unconvincing as a ‘tough guy’.

The real mystery to me is Adam Driver.

How this dorky looking motherfucker got promoted as a ‘sex symbol’ is beyond me.

Kristen Stewart has Hollywood’s ugliest female manjaw.
Every Kardashian is a hideous silicon nightmare.

Chrissy Teigen is a grotesque pumpkin-headed monster that I cannot believe was ever hired as a model. Seriously, look at her head here then her left hand.

You can NOT tell me that shit is attractive.

Scarlett Johansson's eyes look in two different directions
As a long term ScarJo disliker I have been telling people about it for years. Zendaya has/had it too but seems to have had some corrective work done.

Tom Cruise had severely fucked up teeth as a kid:

Now you’ve seen it you will never un-see it. Sorry about that.

All celebrity British men should be sterilized. That is all.
Even Henry Cavill, Sean Bean and Kit Harrington?

Speaking of guy-hot/male gaze: Sydney Sweeney. Why does she have such a stranglehold on men at the moment? To me, she doesn't look that interesting compared to all the other "sexy" actresses out there, and she's not a great beauty in an aesthetic sense.
She has nice bewbs and isn’t afraid to show them off. She’s also cute-attractive (attainable, girl-next-door) rather than beautiful-attractive (“how dare you look at me, you pig!”) and is refreshingly free of the progressive cuntiness that blights the appeal of most under-30 actresses these days.

Tom Holland. British aging is brutal as usual, but I never saw the appeal; his voice is too high-pitched to be sexy, he has zero masculine charisma and his body is not athletic or even large. He's also a shitbull owner and hates cats, which would turn me off any man no matter how could looking he was. His brothers are even goofier looking than he is.

I'm not really familiar with the celebrities but that Scarlett Johansson looks very attractive to me. I even like her wonky eye. Makes me think she might accidentally look at me if she's ever in my local.

Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, looks like a foot. She's got that Sarah Jessica Parker phenotype. Eyes too close together, pointy features, witchy chin. If you're reading this though, Jen, I know loads of men who are obsessed with you.

This might be an unusual one, but Marilyn Monroe. She was very pretty as a young woman and she's far from ugly (she's certainly more naturally attractive than any Gen Z actress), but I've done a lot of reading about her life and I fail to see why she was *the* sex symbol of all time. I think women like Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth are just as beautiful and attractive, probably even more so as Marilyn had a sort of plainness to her features, and their type of beauty reads as more womanly and sexual to me. I think a lot of the hubub around her during her time was a result of her charisma and willingness to exploit her body in the obstensibly prudish 1950s America which made her stand out in a way other actresses didn't. To be fair the last photo was taken in the last year of her life where she was very thin and was likely in the process of losing her looks due to her intense drug addiction.

I also find Grace Kelly much more beautiful, but the answer is twofold: a) Marilyn was designed to appeal to working class men who found women like Grace and Rita too unattainable for their fantasies, and b) wartime pin-ups. A lot of soldiers got pin-ups of her or girls similar to her while they were deployed, and it shaped their tastes. She was never a great beauty or sold as one. She was curvy, swung her hips when she walked, seemed approachable, and made men feel smart and powerful with her dumb blonde routine. She was sex personified, and for that she didn't need to be beautiful or sophisticated. She just needed that signature breathy voice, hair dye, and a tight outfit.

On that note, I never found JFK good-looking at all, and I don't know why he was billed as America's most handsome president. He had bulging downturned eyes, slight strabismus, prominent ears, and the lower half of his face was too heavy. And Jackie was just odd-looking. Eyes on opposite sides of her head.

Remember this law of nature: every female celeb who appears out of nowhere and suddenly becomes a massive sex symbol has fucked a producer.
That has to be the deal with Sabrina Carpenter, her music's nothing special and I don't get why she's the hot shit all of a sudden. Must've slept with someone.

I recall a friend saying that most household actors/actresses have an invisible threshold of attractiveness (supermodel is too high) that they cannot cross in order to maintain an air of approachability to the viewer. Consequently, prolonged observation of an actor's features will reveal eccentricities or flaws, becoming permanently noticeable.

Florence Pugh, gross hunchbacked little goblin woman.

When I saw her in Midsommar (god, what a waste of time), I was shocked at how an actress could look that dumpy and gross with such horrible posture on screen, until I figured it was probably just for that character. But no, she always looks atrocious, whether it's on film or in real life. The fact that she is a big name is baffling.

I don’t watch a lot of new media, so I can’t comment on new actors and actresses that much. Everyone that I can think of is already covered.
I’ll add this to the thread, and then add my thoughts in general;

Britney Spears always looked average, as a teenager and an adult (with some worse for wear because of life choices, in her later years). She’s not ugly. But she wasn’t the only girl that looked like she did in her area of Louisiana.
I’m not going to critique her childhood appearance, but the only times that she really stands out is when she has heavy eye makeup on. And it’s hard to find pictures of her as an adult without it.

I feel like her skimpy clothes when she debuted her music at 16 years old, heavily swayed people finding her hot.

And while we’re at it, let’s talk about someone in a similar vein;
Justin Timberlake

It was difficult for me to not use a picture where I feel like the photographer didn’t do him even more dirty.
He has a rat face with pinched features, doesn’t know how to smile, and doesn’t even have a good personality to make up for it.

And lastly, something that I saw touched on with Sydney Sweeney, and is relevant to Britney (in my opinion); some people find certain celebrities attractive because they do look more like an average and approachable person.
This thread made me look back on my celebrity crushes, and while I can agree that most wouldn’t find them hot, the relatability factor is attractive to me. I feel Ike most of the celebrities that I find hot would be “cute” to most people.
That isn’t to say that I’m bashing any one’s opinion here; it’s just a different thing to consider why people are attracted to certain people.

Except for the truly weird looking celebrities. I haven’t figured that one out yet.

Jennifer Aniston has been mentioned a lot on this thread, but I don’t think she was ever marketed as a great beauty. She was always supposed to be the “every-girl”: relatable, likeable and passably attractive - but not too much.

On that note, the celebrities who men lust after aren’t necessarily the most beautiful. Being too beautiful seems unattainable and uninteresting.

They just have to be pretty enough, curvy-slim, and have a likeable public persona. This is women like Jennifer Lawrence and Sydney Sweeney.

And while we’re at it, let’s talk about someone in a similar vein;
Justin Timberlake
Justin's clean-cut look was his best. Growing a beard transformed his look into that of a guy who’d say creepy things to middle schoolers at a gas station.
Considering the past, Justin could have been a pioneering example of a fuck boy.

I think she is always styled in a way that ages her a lot as well, I haven't seen a single photoshoot or red carpet where she'd actually have good & age appropriate style. Maybe she has the same stylist as Millie Bobby Brown who is more often than not styled like she's a 45-year-old twice divorced real estate agent.

she did nude pictures when she was young so perhaps starting out being a pinup girl then going in to acting and being good at schmoozing (as a euphamism) helped her along
