This dumbass has been complaining, goat-laughing and in general being an annoying clown about the game supposedly not working because he can't shoot weapons and drive vehicles properly. Turns out... it was his third-party, cheap China controller.

Phil after browsing Reddit, X, or 4chan has come to the conclusion that he has free reign to shit on this game for petty reasons. But every attempt at a viral felting just makes him seem weird and retarded. Couldn't have just gone in with an open mind. Why would you when everyone is memeing on Rockstar's off-brand cousin?
Not that I've seen anything worth shitting on or defending this game for but I really hate this shit in particular. He did it with Dragon Age, Kingdom Come 2, and South of Midnight. Nigga just play the game. No one cares what you have to say.

The fact he tried to pass fucking Bugsnax as some deep Evangelion-ass game was so cringe and retarded that no one should care. Then you have "Factually Based" on his life YaSnooza. Not even worth acknowledging.
But he isn't capable of those types of opinions, dumb as they were. These days he just swings from the nuts of everyone else's opinions and tries to double down as if he'd come up with it naturally and it only makes him look weird. So you'll get a game everyone has agreed is dogshite, say Mindseye, and Phil will have a total oddball reason for hating it. Remember. Kingdom Come 2 isn't bad because it went woke. I don't know if Phil just hates on everything because he actually hates everything and enjoys being an asshole or because he tries too hard to be a "negative reviewer" like the AVGN and tries to pass it as "honesty". It's probably somewhere in the middle, but the way Phil just completely misses why negative reviews work is just classic Phil.

In his mind, the AVGN (who he tries so hard to be) is successful because he swears and says things suck, so he obviously has to talk like a teenager who just found out he can swear when his mom isn't watching while just shitting on everything. The problem is that, as usual, Phil doesn't seem to understand that the AVGN just doesn't shit on things because they exist. He intentionally shits on things that actually suck or are poorly made, and it's always the thing that sucks, he doesn't go out of his way and say how the developers are fucking idiots, because otherwise he'd look like an asshole. Imagine if the AVGN just started to shit on something like Mario Kart or Elden Ring, obviously it will rub people the wrong way, especially if his criticism is as vacuous as "the game cheated" or "the game is poorly made" every time he loses.

Phil as usual seems to have such a poor understanding of the thing he wants to be that it circles back to being hilarious, because even as an asshole he is dishonest. His racing wheel wasn't PnP for his eurojank game? It sucks and the developers are idiots for not accounting for every possible peripheral in the market. The wheel does a slightly weird move? Better play it like it's a game-breaking glitch like a clown. Phil wants to go viral so hard for anything other than being a fucking moron, but he also doesn't seem to understand how viral clips work. It is amazing, considering he's been a content creator for almost 18 years.

I don't care to get super deep into James but as far back as the first couple videos he did which were meant to be shared with his peers in film school he was never a gamer gamer he was a film and horror movie buff and drama kid and just fell into the whole video game thing cause he realized a whole generation of people grew up with similar experiences with shitty games and went "yeah I remember pissing a whole weekend away renting Karate Kid".

I think that's his dream scenario. She barely contributes anything, if at all, with her part time job, and exposure to the outside world is scary for Phil. Leanna getting a job likely played a large role in her realizing how unusual their relationship is, since none of her adult coworkers lived such a hermited lifestyle. Not that I think Khet will suddenly come to that realization. They're very different people/in very different stages of their life. Khet is pretty much there for the long haul. I think Phil would also appreciate it being easier to schedule around. Even though it probably doesn't impact his life that much because they don't do anything together, his weird schedule autism seems to apply to her as much as him.

Although if the illness also meant Phil had to take care of her...that's trickier. I think he'd become resentful towards her, but Phil is far too spineless of a coward to ever kick her out, plus he's too stupid to think of an excuse as to why he's doing it that wouldn't make him look awful to his audience.
