Why does MAGA need to counter protest? The left is just burning and looting their own neighborhoods. There's no point, nothing to gain. ICE isn't going to deport any faster if I get out there waving an American flag. And they'll keep deporting even if I don't.
I explained it already. It's important because if you don't counter protest it makes it look like ICE has no support or at best has a lurk warm reception that doesn't warrant a response. This "LMAO they're burning down their own cities. People are really going to wake up now." mindset didn't work so well last time. The speed in which ICE deports people has zero barring whether they're existence continues or not. If it looks unpopular, the administration will have to concede eventually for political expediency as they only see a lack of support.
We learned from January 6th.
Besides, how do you think people who just went through the Palisades/Altadena fires, COVID, economic hardships, strikes, all of the bullshit lately really feel.
They desperately want someone who has that FDR/Clinton horseshit liberality but even die hard boomer liberals are now flipping on this.
I actually had a boomer tell me the other day that their generation fucked up, and the entire younger generation that was around him were like
"you're preaching to the choir."
Let the chips fall where they may, we're only 6 months in.
It does not matter how people
really feel about it. If they don't express it, it's not real to anyone that's important. The left may have retarded beliefs for even more retarded reasons, but they certainly make their beliefs known and that's all that matters to politicians and law makers. It made sense for the Jan 6'ers to aim their ire directly at the seat of governance instead of burning down random shops, but this is where they made a major blunder. They went for those who are in charge directly, all the way at the high echelon of power no less. The Left aim their ire indirectly, for the most part, by going after their enforces. i.e. cops and the national guard. People in power don't really give a shit about their enforcers as proven by the likes of Newscum and are more than willing to throw them under the bus and essentially replace them with the rioters as their means of consolidating power. Politicians are more likely to respond in favor to you if they think they can guarantee their power and influence through it. But if you target them directly, they will snub you as fast as possible regardless of political position. IIRC, CHAZ wasn't ended because all the violence, rape, and that one kid being executed, it ended right after the mayor's apartment was directly targeted.
By no means I'm I suggesting the right should chimp out like the left does, only that they need to actual confront the left in their "protests." If the right shows up in greater numbers or even equal to it, the powers that be will start to favor the other side more or at the very least "find a middle ground" and throw the protesters on the left under the bus, who at this stage are effectively their enforces of power.
Don't mistake loudness for consensus. That's what progressives do,
I literally said the opposite. I am under no delusion that these riots are actually popular amongst the majority of Americans at large, however. Loudness, as proven time and time again for a decade now, have worked to great affect for the left. This can no longer be denied, these are people who have perfected their tactics. "Democracy" is not driven by reason, only virtue. If no one hears it, no one cares.
