Not really (assuming you don't have modern night vision or fucking radar). Next time it's dark try spotting an airplane without looking for it's lights. They tend to blend into the sky, that's why old aa systems has MASSIVE spotlights. Also those rockets aren't really what you're thinking about (for the most part). They're closer to Katushkas. aka big model rockets with a war-head/artillery shell glued to the top. The rocket activates and gets up and arcs but gravity just takes over and it lands *close enough* so you can spot the rocket trail but when it runs out of fuel it's just drops like a dumb bomb.
